Once again, I celebrate for those poor souls in the UK who got this show.

GG UK, love you guys.

Episode 1

Aside from the obvious absurdity of anyone letting a kid literally just off the streets into the most advanced technology humanity possesses...that was a freaking awesome first episode.

I'm a big fan of just throwing the audience into the story and building the backstory afterwards.

Dear BONES, how I love you so.

But...what the hell is this about?

Yeah... there was a lot of "libido" talk in Star Driver too, which the director and script supervisor worked on as well. Not that it makes much sense, its just there haha. It looks like there's going to be a lot of terminology to get acquainted with in this show too, such as when the girl said "Abreaction standby."

Anyways I am in love with this show already! So amazing. The combine sequence at the end was incredibly epic. Bones has done it again!

Ep 1

That was...pretty good. I still think Bones can't get rid of their Eureka Seven boner lol, the feel of Eureka Seven is still all over this show.

Otherwise still good, will keep watching.

Dat gattai. Dat animation. OH MY GOD IT'S FULL OF STARS.

I have to say though, I liked the first half of the episode better than the second. First it's all character building, a male mecha lead that for once seems to have a personality defined better than "GOTTA PROTECT MY FRIENDS", and lots of mystery. Then random shit happens and they throw a bajillion of weird terms at us and then he just appears, literally APPEARS in front of the robot and takes off. That's the old "random boy finds giant mecha and pilots it in an emergency" trope taken to its logical conclusion . I really hope they explain this thoroughly, I'm always worried when I see lots of strange things happening since sometimes no one thought them through. But that's just my fears, the episode is really solid.

I also liked how the enemies are apparently only other humans. I wonder what's up but it looks like at least this is going to put some new twist on a typical mecha story.

Promising, looks like the return of Bones with Noragami actually wasn't a fluke.

Really enjoyed the first ep, the ost and animation were awesome. I hope the story can keep up, especially since its 2 cour there should be enough room for it to.

Aside from the cliched as hell parts, first episode is a lot better than I expected but that is not saying much still looks like another typical mecha mess ready to happen and a bunch of eye-rolls, but I will have to keep tabs on this. Now I hope Bones paces this well.

That was...okay. Decent, even.

Waiting for the explanation regarding the main’s ability to pilot a mech he’s never seen before. But then, that’s mecha for you.

I liked it.

Episode 1

Shame we didn't get to see that mecha in action but I think this has potential. Part of it was generic though in terms of the first half imo. Still, I'm curious about Daichi and how his life will change after what just happened.

Oh and those enemies (I assume they are antagonists) sure are dressed oddly. It gave me a Star Driver vibe.

Pretty good first episode. I don't expect that this anime will be breaking any new ground, but it looks like it will be enjoyable to watch.

I lost count of the number of times I yawned while watching the first episode. I'll continue to watch it, as a mecha fan, but they're going to have to try VERY hard to keep me from calling it utter crap by the time it's run is over.

The plot of the first episode is so full of holes it's ridiculous. Main character being in the right place at exactly the right time for no reason at all, making decisions that no sane person would ever make, apparently able to pilot a highly advanced robot with no training (though this is common with many mecha). This is what you call deus ex machina.

While there is no continuity in the story so far, I enjoyed the first episode and will continue to watch.
