Good 2nd episode. I feel that I like and care about the characters which is always a good thing.

Much better than the first episode. I at least wasn't too confused. It was a bit odd how they fast forward in time and he's suddenly wearing the lead gear, though.

Also Salty Dog is very appropriately named as their leader seems like a very salty individual. And of course a traitor to mankind if the preview for next episode is anything to go by....

Am I the only one that looks at Peter Westvillage and thinks "totally Peter Wellers"? If this ever gets an english dub they need Wellers to do his voice.

First two minutes, "In case u missed that epic transformation sequence here it is again"-still loved it

cant wait to meet the flight navigator in the next ep

My only gripe with the show is that is does the typical, mech gets stronger due to desire/courage/love etc...basically spiral energy from gurren lagan. I would love to see a mech anime where characters win through actual piloting skills and strategy

Best thing would be an anime where mecha is powered by the opposite of that. Like, it eats your fear. So you need to make it pilot by cowards. But cowards will be terrible because as soon as they get the mecha powered up they'll use it to run away.

It'll be glorious.

With this one, I'm ignoring most of the mech stuff. The story itself looks like it will be complicated and interesting.

Both of these!

In case you missed the 10 minute transformation in episode 1, here is a 2 minute version....

Next, watch the MC get his ass kicked until he does the trope of getting mad and screaming to power himself up... and have a mysterious computer hacker friend help him out at the same time because he's up there in the mech wearing his pyjamas or street clothes and doesn't know anything about piloting it but he is the son of...

Second episode was better. Still entertained but... brain is off, brain is off, brain must stay off for this show...

I have a hammer if it will help keep it off, jk jk jk LOL.
Anyway still entertained compared to some of the other things I have seen today. Cool boomerang.
Also Daichi being a chill MC is helping this viewing alot, simply just takes care of business then has fun, it might be dumb at times but at least I am entertained.

Episode 2

So the gun is not a gun, but the embodiment of somebody's will and only selected individuals can fire it. They are all prisoners, but Daichi will have none of that. This episode is a huge improvement over the first as things are properly explained here. Anyway, while I am not expected to continue watching this show, at least I will tune in for another episode or two after this.

Episode 2
He defeat that enemy girl way too quickly.

Boomerang seriously...?

Liked the OP and ED.

Abit generic but still the #1 show of the season for me.Wish it be more serious though, then again these are only the beginning episodes.

I concur. Cowards like him always leave me sick to my stomach, he wants to abuse their power but is petrified of them. I won't even bother learning his name, I'll just make up a sarcastic nickname for him and just use that. He's a mamber of an organization called Salty Dog so it won't be that hard.
