Inspector Ando (Spitz) wasn't too thrilled about Hirosue (Pointer) being sent to Tenkaido to retrieve Hana!

Given this guy's bat-kuso crazy attitude, look out, Hana!

Two true pairings, kisses, princess carries... Might be the romance show of the season! Oh and it has mecha too... Sometimes.

I loved Akari's mom watching her with Teppei too. First a friend, now kissing her boyfriend! If the Earth isn't destroyed it will be the best day ever.

I would not call this show a romance, even as a sub-genre. The "romance" in this show feels forced at best, it's way underdeveloped.

Akari doesn't show any interest in Teppei through the entire series up until this point. I can't name one scene where they illustrated her desire to like him until that episode. This jump, skipping any development of romance, is also apparent in the other coupling. It's a real shame too because Akari's character was the only thing I could find unique about this show to keep me watching it. Now she's just a role I've seen play out so many times before in other less than good anime.

They should of just kept he neutral instead of forcing her into a niche.
I was being a bit sarcastic there as we have no good romance anime shows this season. The ones that should have been... are not very good. This forced cheesy romance is the best we're getting at the moment.

Sorry bout that then! I failed to comprehend "I loved Akari's mom watching her with Teppei" and other signals. I was pretty steamed that the only character I liked on the show was forced into that role.

Episode 21

NEVER EVER TRUST idols in this series.

The battles were okay but I think it was also more of a struggle to save Hana. As a magical girl, I think Akira knew something was wrong as well. I wonder what else the Planetary Gear has up in their sleeves though.

Good there is a BIG GLOWING OBVIOUS CAPSULE on top of the otherwise very powerful machine Goodfellows...

Many very convenient resolutions today, giant ass pulls.

And yet... for some reason I'm still enjoying this silly show.

Ep 21

Kind of a stupid reason for glasses dude to have so that he can suddenly give Hana back. Some BS plot logic when he's always been a douche.

Yes but I thought there were even more today. Maybe I already forgot last week's episode...

At least the capsule (when one is mounted) has always been in that position. They normally don't take them into potential combat in that position.

What didn't make sense is that she didn't inject the capsule either as soon as she was discovered, or at latest when they began shooting.

That said, perhaps she wasn't interesting in becoming the first test subject confirming whether the Intercept Faction's new weapon could indeed destroy ego blocks.

Good Point It is usually injected and if not why wasnt it explained! The other thing was Pointer but after seeing The Captain's power changed his mind

But Ai was pretty sneaky about the debris and why diidnt they know about it.A cover-up? And the action was good! This has improved a lot and just ignored some of the plot!

Yes, and they did announce that they know it is possible. But it was odd to just leave it out there.

For once the guards/storm troopers could actually hit something too... that's a first!

Giant untracked debris... I didn't even bring that up. It is big but by far not one of the bigger plot holes in this show but I turned off my logical brain for this show long ago.

But I didn't mind Pointer changing directions after realizing that he could trust The Captain, thought he had the resolve it would take to save the human race. He is not alone in believing in him now. It seems he really does have what it takes to be Captain Earth now, save the planet, already got the girl Hana for the most part. All going according to plan... until next week at least since it seems their enemies know what they're up to.

He was just so impressed by the power of friendship and the Boosted Plasmagnum.

I expect they had the position of the debris floating around plotted, but since it suddenly deviated from its plotted orbit, it would appear to the system as new untracked debris.

After all, debris weighing around a metric ton doesn't normally suddenly start moving at high speed unless it is hit by something similarly massive traveling at similar speed, or something small traveling at even higher speed (and even then, it would be far more likely to fragment into smaller chunks).

Moving it all around and using it to attack wasn't explained very well. It would require many hits or propulsions systems... Or alien tech or magic. But I did say my brain is off for this show I think... So I am trying hard not to sweat the details.
