Because I absolutely LOVE the OP (Believer's High by flumpool), I'm watching this show regardless of how ridiculous it gets! I also expect to see Daichi, Hana, and Teppei (along with the Earth Engine) in the next Super Robot Wars!!!

Still very confused. Hope they will explain the conflict between earth and the "aliens". Why there are English written at the alien's base?

I'm not sure if ill get into this one... First episode was a poorly paced mess, but the second episode seems to be getting a bit better. I'm hoping for the best, but I won't be sad if this is a comb over

I'm actually really liking this one so far as of 2 episodes. Yeah there's a lot of set-up and questions but this is a 25 episode (not sure it is confirm but is very likely) so there will be plenty of time answering all the questions. I'm fascinated by this because whilst it doesn't present anything knew Bones does what Bones does best and executed it really well. I like the animation very traditional nothing original but still that execution is really well handled . Hopefully it continues to be good.

(So many guys in this thread saying they dislike mecha. How peculiar.)

I decided to give this show a go and catch up.

Feels a great deal like Rahxephon to me. There are similar character beats and plot progression. This is not a bad thing!

Only thing that really made me do the eye roll:

Episode 3

Good episode and I liked the contrast of the mood between the first and second half. The fight was okay I guess, wasn't anything special but that sure was a surprise at the end there.

Akari reminds me of Hajime for her strong energetic personality from Gatchaman Crowds.

I admit that this show has been going up IMO. The first episode was OK at best. But the follow up episodes have been good. I'm actually getting an Ano Natsu de Matteru (which I love) vibe from it.

The extended endless launch sequences could be skipped, but other than that, this isn't half-bad. Good character development and humor.

God damn, Hana!

And Akari's pretty cool herself.

Salty Dog's Alpha tried to kill Daichi so he and his allies can continue on whatever plan they have for Hana, but Hana and Teppei work together to save Daichi with one of the Killtgang's own mechs.

A rather nice third episode. So now we have enemies on two sides.....

Episode 3

So this episode really redeemed this show from the last episode for me. Episode 2 was okay, but i was at that point where i was like i donno how much i'm gonna like this show outside of the action/pretty animation.

But then they introduced Akari<3 She's going to be fun. They also had a much heavier/dark feel to this episode. It's as if the tip of the iceberg just became visible, and now we can see that this show will go deeper than just the surface. I will be keeping up with this series and hoping it will only progress better and better each episode!

Ark Faction suggests a group of people fully intending to abandon the planet and make a run for it. Presumably they will also be deciding who gets to live and who stays on Earth to die.
Sounds like just the right sort of organization for Glasses-Creep.

so we have a group of self-entitled pricks who have already given up the world for doomed, and see Hana as their key to safety so they sent Glasses-Creep to make sure they have a leash on her.

Gonna look forward to Creep and all his buddies dying horribly at some point.

Episode 3
Hope this doesn't end up relying on fanservice bait because that would be a true shame.

Hana necessary for the Kivotos Plan?Ark Faction?I sense sinister plans.

Amara killed Daichi's father.

1 minutes wasted on the mecha sequence, not that I mind because of the mecha visual porn but couldn't they just skip it to get to the action/plot.

Teppei=Albion

I'm guessing Teppei is a banished/MIA prince of the alien race cause of the way Amara reacted.Or maybe going even deeper he's a god cause of what he said at the end of the episode.
