Because I absolutely LOVE the OP (Believer's High by flumpool), I'm watching this show regardless of how ridiculous it gets! I also expect to see Daichi, Hana, and Teppei (along with the Earth Engine) in the next Super Robot Wars!!!

Episode 3

Not only are the invaders from outer space posing problems, but so is Salty Dog, who is throwing Daichi into the wolves even though his busted-up mecha needs some serious repairs. It's only thanks to Teppei seizing control of the Albion that Daichi was saved. Well, that was a pretty good episode there, and certainly this show has improved after a bad first episode. I probably will drop this show given time constraints, but this show has become something that would be worth watching. I might give it one more episode, but that will probably be it after that.

Realistically if the enemy is coming from a long ways away, then I could see the reality of the Mecha being created before the enemy arrives. Seems that's exactly what happened this episode. Not sure why they cannot have a simpler system and I think it would be nice to know why the system is the way it is. Plus, what connection do Teppei and Hana have that allowed Teppei to pop out of a void and help Daichi? If I grasped the end there, people were taking Teppei's mecha as an enemy until Hana told everyone it's a "good Mecha." Sounds like another story line to go down on. Oh and how about we get Daichi some training on fighting/piloting because it would be a waste to go through the 3 tiered transformation to lose the battle 10 seconds after the mecha is completed?

It's interesting and I'm looking forward to how all the characters progress, but more specifically how Daichi, Hana, Akira, and Teppei progress.

akari best character confirmed

it was nice to see the commander step up and take responsibility for the shit Hana and Teppei had to go through

Also, the Albion looks so much cooler than the earth engine

Hmm may I possibly get an explanation of how the alien mechas work from someone who understands this much better than I do? I can't tell if I am over thinking this/ not turning off my brain enough / or this is just smarter than I am. From what I have observed in their dialogue, the mecha is their true form yes? so now how did they revert into a humanoid form? why is it when ever they are beaten they turn into a cube and return to their base? where exactly is their FREAKING base, is it on an asteroid or a moon base? I think I definitely missed some stuff in the first episode for me to be a bit agitated in the "antagonist" setting construct.

The other thing is, can we assume Teppie is in some way a former child/ally of the two antagonists that have been shown? or is it just the mechaloid that they recognize.... and lastly was he operating the albion remotely within the chamber he was in or did he physically go into space to save dacchi.....?
I think I can let go of everything, but what I just can't seem to graps is why exactly do they turn into cubes when defeated and why aren't they (the earthlings, our MC's) trying to capture or chase those cubes to bring back and figure what the hell is that thing.

Every time they need to intercept the enemy, they have to do that launch sequence; what's a pain.

The series still loses me. They better give some answers for what the heck is going on.

This has been really good so far.

Why did Hana Mutou have a similar affect on her to an old TV at about 8:15 though, is she some sort of projection? It only appears on her character and nothing else.

Also if Salty Dog is an organisation to police Globe so it does its job correctly and protects the Earth its kinda failing at that given how corrupt its become, and how many times will they need to be told lead gears are prohibited before they realise that.

(Sorry if I made a mistake using quotes, I'm not used to this)

The first episode shows the base is on the opposite side of Earth's Moon, I guess to make use of the fact the orbit of the moon and rotation of it match so that from Earth the base cannot be observed directly.

The alien mechs are apparently little cubes that form a giant robot of of energy or something, and they launch from a giant, weird-shaped, impossible-to-conceive rectangle thing in another dimension.

Makes perfect sense. Also, Hana is a QT.
