Only saw FUNi's preview for right now... but it looks like it may be a bit darker of a show than I imagined for a card game. Could be interesting.

Episode 1
Another stupid card game adaption.

If this is cliche I'm almost certain the grandma is the mastermind behind the game.

Tama is cute but her highpitched voice is so freaking annoying.

Wish comes true,wow so original...

5/10.Please don't be as terrible as Fantasista Doll.

Tama has an ear-destroying voice.

The textures used in the anime good, same with some of the animated bits, but it runs at a low frame rate. I guess I'm more pleased than displeased, considering that it's a product show.

Main character is very air-headed yet did "unnaturally well" in a game that she has no idea how to play... Hopefully the anime will get to a full explanation of game (and hopefully the game has more depth than it seemed to have..) I imagine the girl's friend has already lost twice because of how poorly she must have been playing with the main character.

Is her friend going to wish that her twin brother to not be related to her so they could have a relationship? O.o

I'm going to keep up with it and Jojo's this season. At least until the card game is explained or I get disgusted with the characters..

I had planned on watching it without subs here on Crunchyroll as it looks even darker than it should be on Funimation, probably their bad encoding again. But alas, Crunchyroll doesn't have it yet so I watched it subbed and so dark you could hardly see some scenes on Funimation.

Grandma is quite the game master, making custom levels for Tetris! Card games too? Who knows...

Tama's seiyuu also did the Goldfish in Galilei Donna so I knew I'd heard that annoying voice before...

And Yuzuki sounds just like Natsumi from Non Non Biyori... because her seiyuu played her of course. And Fuyuna in Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou... another similar sort of dark magical girl game, hmm...

The textures really are well done. And the character designs are nice too. Too bad it is about a silly card game.

I'm hoping the dark themes AND the making friends themes will be able to transcend the card game silliness but I'm not sure they will.

You're right, it is already so obvious that Yuzuki has lost two games so she was hoping to find a hapless beginner to beat easily. AND... I am going to scream if her wish... just a guess but I'll spoiler tag it anyways...

I agree with your entire assessment on this one.

I'm also worried about Main Character's wish. Is she going to wish that the tower be removed from the town because towers are big and tend to get a lot of attention? what a load of..

You can wish for ANYTHING and so far it seems like incest and preventing a big building from being finished because of claustrophobia are #1 on everyone's list -.-

So just an episode in and already Wincest, or unrequited wincest?, which ever, is already blatantly obvious ( but highly doubt it will be part of the main plot). Now to hope the anime gets darker, and full on starts breaking every moe thing around haha.

I have always wondered, is this a major twin thing? I know twins tend to have a great connection, but in almost any anime I watch that has some apparent dark tone, or mature tone, there always has to be a hyper love b/w twins.....I mean for once, just have a "normal" twin relationship, shesssh.

Let's conquer normal brother-sister relationships first, shall we? We can deal with the twin love later.

I thought we had a normal sibling relationsihp with OreGairu/SNAFU but alas in the game there is a beautiful Komachi ending... and I approve! How sad is that? I now approve of the siscon/brocon happy ending... anime and visual novels have ruined me LOL

Re-watched with better quality. My thoughts so far:

- Nice OP song/OST/Soundtrack in terms of quality.
- Characters feel a bit lifeless so far
- Game rules are vaguely explained
- "Tama"...the only thing I see good about her so far is her cuteness and potential
- That dream suggests despair
- Kazuki could be a flag trigger if something ever happens to him
- I bet that wish has something to do with a relationship although I could be off.

It has some humor in it I guess. Show hasn't shown its true colors yet. But with the director, maybe soon...

The animation frames are low despite the good still visuals. I'm not surprised. I doubt the anime's production costs were very high.

I guess episode 1 was supposed to establish the plot. I was honestly hoping the next episode would focus on the gameplay. HOWEVER, it seems like it'll be used to establish another character

Hopefully the plot isn't as bad as it sounds so far. Focusing on the characters should be a good thing.

Well... I don't know what to say now..

I don't know much about seiyuu, but there's a really good team in the background o.o
If I wanted to break the boundaries of your typical card game show, this is good production team to have.
Maybe it gets better

Haha that is true, How can I forget the whole bro-sis relationship in most...OH reallyyy? SNAFU has that in the game? wow xD, I think it might be time for rehabilitation LOL. But I can understand that, if the relationship is dynamically well made, I just ignore the blood relation entirely, in my head of course.

I thought the first episode itself was solid though I was expecting a dark tone series out of this, but it looks like a card game anime and I'm not a big fan of that genre, but it did surprise me with that. The animation was good, but some backgrounds were a bit plain. The characters were alright, but the main girl is a little generic. It's first episode so I'll keep open minded with this show.

Speaking of Madoka:
Main character wouldn't know what to wish for and is just swept into everything.
Main character has a dream of an apocalyptic scenario in ep 1 (even if this one is most likely metaphorical).
Her best friend has a wish for some love affair that most likely won't come true.

Not to mention that this is the director of Steins;Gate. Things take awhile before they really go into that territory as Steins;Gate started out with a good number of episodes where the characters are doing stuff that's all fun and games.
