Personally I found little busters was great, but the second series just went off, on some weird tangent.

I would like to say Sword Art Online... (If you consider episodes 14 and on a "second season")

The first fourteen episodes were absolutely amazing IMO. After the season finale I really wasn't a huge fan of the way they took the show ... I mean it wasn't bad but it had NOTHING on the first season... The change of pace was too drastic for me lol.
I Agree but it entered a new Arc so they might have been trying a different approach for different audiences with the flying and such.

Naruto.

I've just continued it...sorta. And while it's not a pure 2nd Season style, after the first 130ish Episodes, they break off into 150+ Filler episodes. Like, for serious, 150+ Filler episodes. They should've made those fillers EARLIER! But they didn't know they'd get so big with that infamous Sasuke Retrieval arc, did they? Like, who expect you'll go 3 Years after your peak making bullshit content?

Of course, that's just the beginning.

I've recently continued with Naruto, and I've nearly caught up again. After the famously good "Pain" Arc..

Let me go on a tangent for a second. Naruto is a mixed bag. Depending on the current plot, it's quality jumps around. When Naruto is training, or the show is focusing on Naruto overcoming some great threat, the show is at a high point! The stakes are high, and the care is evident. The famous "Pain" arc involved Naruto training to become strong enough to surpass his mentor, and it was a good arc! Motherfucker learned Frog-Karate, how is that not awesome? The training is good, and the plot is super serious, the audience is engrossed in the story.

Then....like it was all some dream, the Mega-Ultra Ninja-War arc happens right after, and everything goes off the rails.
I mean, they built a Ninja-Army to take on a terrorist cell compromised of 12 Members, 10 of which WERE ALREADY DEAD.
But they didn't know that! They thought this Terrorist Cell had at LEAST 5 Members! Oh the horror! Lets build a massive army of 80,000 Ninja's, all of which belong to different countries who hate each other, that should go well!

But wait their's more! The writer, noticing he wrote himself into a pickle, building an army to take on 2 dudes, had to haphazardly create them an army!
So, in the same chapter, he introduced a Zombie Ninja Army! Created for the sole purpose of covering his ass with the previous lines of bull.

THAT is a show that went off track in it's second half. That right there. I used as vague wording as I could to not be too spoilery....but guys, Zombie Ninja Army.... think about it.

Death Note. I enjoyed it regardless, but I can't argue that it dragged on much longer than necessary.

Big O - Season two wasn't necessarily bad per say, but damn I haven't watched it in years and to this day I remember the sheer disappointment I felt upon completing season two... its too bad really, that one could have been a great.

Darker than Black - so bad I couldn't finish it and that is actually rare for me. I heard it deviated greatly from the manga but I haven't tried reading it for myself so I can't say either way.

Sword Art Online is based off light novels. I actually read the translated novels and the anime followed it faithfully, from what I could tell. They didn't rush the 'first half' like many people say, it actually happened like that. Also, the 'second half' was not some random arc, it follows the novel.

But I agree, it was not the best, and trust me i've read like 6 of the sword art online novels and not all are great, some better than others.

Oreimo, what happened man it came from being a nice brother and sister anime to becoming a siscon - incest - ecchi. In the second season Kyousuke becomes the biggest pervert ever, and he didn`t want to get with his siter at all - but in the second season he oddly is attracted to her like unbefore, the writing was bad, the characters were bad! And for some reason ever girl loved him without ever really being around him. He was no way of being a good guy for any of the girls but you know it`s a harem ecchi so of course. Well it was pretty bad.

Darker Than Black, I Liked Darker Than Black but the approach of Season 2 was a bad way to output it. Hopefully someday they`ll animate the manga that sequeled DTB Season 1. in a different light.

I gotta say Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions!, and I say this while still enjoying the hell out of the second season. It just isn't as good as the first season, though. There just isn't much emotional stakes, and overall very little character growth has happened.

Really the only thing REN has over the first season is better production values. The second season just flat out looks better and the battle scenes are much better(and that's saying something cause season one's were freaking amazing), but everything else is heavily in the first season's favor.

Kirito and his younger Sister/Cousin Sugou(or something) had a romance sub-arc. I honestly thought her character was REALLY well done. I'm talking like, why didn't Asuna get this level of development and screen time? All Asuna did was make kissy faces and have people call her awesome, that's freaking it! No character development or nothing, just (Yo Kirito, lets totally hang dude) moments, and only a few at that! It was forgivable, until they spend to much time on the Sister, and it was an incest sub-plot that made no sense too! I mean, we KNOW she stands no chance....but they pushed on with that arc. They could've just told a different story with her and removed Kirito altogether, that would've been awesome! And you know, the Second Arc lost it's magic by leaving the SAO-area of SAO. It's called SAO...fucking...stay in SAO.

I'll be honest, Itachi is a really stupid genius, and I've grown to like him. He never gives a straight answer, specializes in bullshit(Genjutsu is Bullshit-jutsu), and doesn't care when people don't understand him.

He'll stab someone to save them, and let you keep the wrong impression..... which is hilariously stupid, and how I see his character...so it's in character.

But yeah, no excuse I say, Filler is FIller! Kakashi stop taking all the screen time...at least Naruto isn't there but damn it, why can't you just not air an episode for a week? Look at One Piece! They're done with episodes for a few weeks, do that!

WRoksana was no doubt referring to Suguha, his cousin (which wouldn't be incest in Japan) and adoptive sister who appeared in the second arc.
