Is this supposed to be like 10 episodes, or how is this gonna work out?

When they mentioned the people dying within 9 days of hearing the song, it made me think 9/10 episodes...

For me it was a pretty good first episode, the design of the red poop is kind of scary, my heart is still pounding.

This first episode felt a bit rough around the edges, but a lot of the concepts interested me. I like how the main characters seem antisocial, as opposed to being perfect or even ordinary. As long as there's more detail about the lightless world and the mechs, this could be interesting.
I'm also curious about what will come of hearing that song. It might not be as straightforward as those rumors made it sound.

Why does everyone in this show look like they are wearing copious amounts of eye-liner.

I really liked the first episode. I can't wait until next week. However, I just wish Daisuki's player was more robust. I had to refresh several times to get through the episode.

not a bad first episode.... the blonde girl is annoying, though.

I do agree with you that blond is very annoying and also that the first episode was not that bad considering that most first episodes don't start off that quickly into the action/plot. It will be interesting how they start to explain more in-depth on
. The script doesn't amaze me all that much considering it is written by Mari Okada, who mostly does romance/emotional shows. But I'll continue watching unless it becomes a written nightmare, and completely goes off track of the action/mysterious elements that this show is meant to have.

But anyways, I'm very excited to see how this will go considering this might be a show with a decent story.

I tried searching for a M3 thread and didn't see this so I made my own... Now I feel stupid...

I just don't understand how you're so fast at making threads! You're always on it!

Episode 1

These kids are piloting these mechas to protect the place from Admonitions, and they aren't exactly monsters. Case in point, the locket that Emiru was wearing meant a lot to that piece of "red poop" that Raika kept referring it to. That was a decent episode there, and given Satojun's style of writing, I figured I was in for something slow-paced (at least relative to other mecha shows). Dealing with Daisuki has been such a headache, and given how loaded my list is already that I think I had enough, at least until it's available somewhere else if anything.

Episode 2

Eh, another strange episode and Emiru is getting on my nerves somewhat. Akashi on the other hand also experienced a strange vision.

I'm still wondering what direction this show will go tbh. I think more will be revealed soon but the latest episodes are fueling questions.

Well it's certainly getting nasty. A bit of a particular intro we got there. But lots of mystery. And no direct clue besides the description of the show as to where this will be going.

So curious to see what awaits us in the next episode.

Akashi's background is peaking my interest even more, likewise to Emiru, why does she feel the need to act so fake, there seems to be a method to her madness, but it hasn't been revealed yet. Chauvinistic Instructor is Chauvinistic, his death won't be mourned, so far the entire cast has my interest in a way I never expected, especially the "bite my shoulder scene to calm down", all sorts of weird there. As well as the Reaper Mecha I wonder why Akashi was a perfect fit for it, something to do with his brother? maybe?

I just hope the show doesn't force its dark theme, and inserts gore just for the sake of gore.

I won't disagree that her current attitude is quite irritating, but don't you think there might be more to her? Unless you are already agitated by her personality OF faking the current one she has, if so disregard this lol.

Mmm, still not sure about this one.

I don't know what purpose anything serves in this show. Why the mechs? Why the Admonitions? Why the Corpses? What does it mean?

I'm finding it more annoying than intriguing. On the plus side, I do enjoy the ensemble cast. All that dysfunction in one group ends up working out pretty well.
