@Crunchyroll should allow you to watch anime offline like if your traveling and don't have wifi or don't have that much data a month atleast it should be a premium feature and only a few episodes like 3-5 atleast enough til you get to a place that has wifi so you could download more to watch

So its not a feature but would be a nice add on like amazon prime or Netflix now lest temporary offline viewing of there contents.

[Mod - removed a bunch of stuff that would go against the site TOS. And potentially break laws.]

if CR was willing to do this, they'd have to charge more to premium users, or offer a new premium tier just for those who want to download.
the regular premium costs $6.95 / month. maybe if they did offer such feature, it would cost around idk, $15 a month?
i'm not sure about the price other than it would surely be significantly more expensive. the question here is, how much more would you be willing to pay to be able to download, and would it be enough for CR to offset the costs of offering the download option (since this would require a more expensive agreement with the copyright holders).

Depending on the price, I, at least, would be willing to pay a bit more... As someone who travels nearly twice every weekend, the option to download these episodes would be highly valuable.

But I didn't even consider that CR needs to think about off setting the cost of the new Copyright agreement...

I guess we aren't likely to see that option soon

This needs to happen ASAP. Cut a dev deal with cell-phone providers who would benefit most from reduced user data consumption.

It would be cool if CR would allow something like this. I don't like wasting all my data on CR when i'm on the go.

While CR has indicated they plan to offer offline access later this year, if they don't hurry Anime Strike won't be the only anime streaming service offering that feature before them.

Per https://www.funimation.com/forum/topic/10375/offline-viewing/6:

Yep. Offline viewing is coming for iOS and Android mobile and tablet. I just finished the requirements for it. :D

You'll be able to queue up downloads and will be able to store up to 13 completed videos on your device as long as you have enough storage space.
