I have a friend who'd probably be like 'I love you, baby.'

And proceed to grind on me and laugh. It's just a display, though. I'm 110% sure we are all ruler-straight. They're just comfortable enough and secure enough in their masculinity to do it for kicks.

Shit is real. I'm a girl and get bro zone all the time because I've got a moustache, penis, short hair, and wear sweatpants.

All of my closest friends have either punched me or tried to fight me at some point, but we talk it out sometime afterwards. That's how I know we are good friends.

Lol. Kind of. I'm really good at pushing peoples buttons until they snap and lose their temper. When arguing or a heated debate, if they hit me I consider that a win.

I flirt with this one friend of mine from work all the time. I've gotten her to admit to being in love with me and/or being my girlfriend multiple times. ^_^

That's true friendship right there.

As a guy with more than one male friend who has a sexual orientation that includes attraction to men.... yeah, no. One, I don't want to lead them on if they are into me. I'm straight, its not gonna happen. That would not be cool to do to an acquaintance, nevermind a friend. Two, if they're not into me it could give them the idea that I want to "experiment" or am curious, and I DO NOT want to experience an awkward attempt to hook me up with a dude. No thank you. I have no problem with homosexual activity on the part of others, but I do have a problem with participating in it personally.

That said, the way most people use the word friend is far too easy and loose for me. I have never had many friends, and I don't plan to have a lot. I have plenty of acquaintances that I enjoy spending time with and even hanging out now and then. They aren't friends though. I will go pretty far for my friends. I have literally fought for them, even faced down a knife-wielding a-hole on one occasion. Fortunately he didn't really know how to use the knife. I have made a gift of money to a friend down on his luck. He took a metaphorical bullet and got fired. The d-bag he thought was a friend and that he covered for left him hanging. I had his back because he is my friend. Places to crash when they need it, rides halfway across the country, money, food, blood, and sweat are all things I have given for friends. Its too bad I have to be so picky about who I can call a friend, but I learned a long time ago that most people don't mean the same thing I do when they use that word.

There is a saying:

"A friend will help you move. A true friend will help you move a body"

@papagolfwhiskey - I am familiar with that one, and I do appreciate that sentiment. I just try to make an effort to avoid going dark, its far too easy and can set an awkward tone... that said, trunk space is important when I car shop A quote from a buddy of mine, "I prefer sedans, especially the kind that can fit half a graveyard in the trunk."

I take it metaphorically. A fried will put themselves out for a day and do a bit of heavy lifting for your. or at least hold doors open and operate the elevator.

A true friend will risk their safety, integrity, reputation, freedom, etc. on your behalf. That's why it can be a blessing to be in trouble. "You find out who your friends are"

Make sure you bat your eyelashes and act shy. xD

I'm always introducing my cousin, who is an admitted homophobe and seems quite proud to be so, to Oglaf and can't help but LOL at his reactions.
