@bathroom64 perfect characters have no room for improvement which leads to boring story

They seem to have a few personality, social, and developmental issues. But sure, if you say so.

In that case please don't spoil, I'd rather go off just the adaptation which I'm really liking thus far.

Episode 2

Steph fell for the oldest trick in the book, and now Sora and Shiro are living with her. Turns out that their race is at a huge disadvantage because they can't use magic. Sora is there to change all that. After a rather serious and dramatic first episode, this one is filled with craziness, as well as explanations about the world Sora and Shiro have just entered into.

Just love those base drop moments when Sora has figured out his oppenents move and how he will act to it. Also, Shiro and Sora are so adorable when they are split apart xD

Episode 2

I gotta admit, that was a pretty neat trick the MC pulled off there with Rock Paper & Scissors. I should try that someday...

But seriously, Steph was way too exaggerated after that loss LOL.
Anyways, I like the word concept of this show so far involving those ranking of races. Still, it was a great episode. Shiro is aiming to become a king now and I think he has what it takes. I'll look forward to that match next week of course

The granddaughter fell in love for real, because she is not being forced by God anymore, as we can see from her "Steph-a-Scope" which was missing at the end.

Jojo reference was the best part of the ep for me

I feel like that is because Steph is "mind controlled" by the rule to make her fell in love with Sora, that is why she was in Steph-o-scope, but anyway fun episode. Definitely wanted to watch this to the end.

Again, the scope was missing at the end. Hinting she fell in love for real.

Series is pretty good. And yeah, I agree with the above - she might have fell in love for real.

About that -little room for development- comment. I think plenty of us have watched dozens, if not hundreds, of shows where the weak little tadpole becomes an amazing fighting machine. I welcome this.

Episode 2

Sooo excellent. The relationship between Sora and Shiro is awesome. I can already feel next episode a lot more plot is going to develop which is really good. I hate when shows take forever to get into the swing of the story. I feel like this show has established a really good feel for the main characters and now they can start rolling the plot. A+

Did i ever mention how much im in love with this staff and cast! It's honestly the best thing ever! Ai Kayano is so adorable as characters like Shiro in this and Mashiro in Sakarasou. -squeeeee!!!-
