Recently moved? If you have a house, pay close attention to your foundation (tip: watch your counters; a widening gap between the back of the counters and the wall is indicative of the house shifting). The commonly high clay content in soil down south often causes buildings to slip off of their foundations. With Spring and Summer, fire ants will become more active. Always check your feet every ten minutes or so when you're outside, and thoroughly inspect the ground before you sit down and whatnot. Not seeing an ant hill doesn't mean that there isn't a nest, too. Fire ants possess a poisonous and painful bite, so you might want to look into buying an aloe vera plant or some other treatment. Also, fire ant poison often doesn't work well. When disturbed, they swarm extremely quickly and aggressively. Watch out for underground yellow jacket hives, as well, and termites are pretty common.

I hate spring :(
I'm allergic to everything and I can't go out in sunlight because my skin is to sensitive.

The dandelions are kind of pretty where I live, although I'll have to kill them all since they're weeding up the garden.

Damn, Autumn is among me. You guys enjoy your weather while we enjoy our hot Autumn. Then, end up in what we Australians call winter, which is probably amazing weather for you guys.

Lol, don't have a house, but I'll keep an eye out for fire ants.

Spring is definitely in the air here in Seattle. Flowers are budding, and while it is still cold, at least it's not freezing. But of course, one reason I dread spring is because of my allergies, but I hope that moving here will help curb that problem since it usually is breezy.

Well, I'm not seeing much 'spring.' Just so happens that it marks the first day of weather in the negatives in the past two weeks... lame. I honestly don't mind snow.. but I hate the cold.

I live in south florida, so aside from the week of winter we had in January it's been pretty warm. In fact, it's already summer now. It's too freaking hot down here. It's kinda weird though, cause the temperature drops a lot just an hour or two north of here.

This year's winter doesn't feel like winter at all where I'm from. Only a week of rain & that's about it. Spring=Summer here. Pretty much summer weather all year long.

I consider it spring when I no longer have to wear a jacket to work in the morning and I don't have to turn my heater on in my work trailer.....
