Basically, from what I've read, they are not saying that Brain Base will be the producers but the original staff will be involved with the anime. According to what I read on ANN and MAL:

The story takes place a half year after the first series at Tokyo's Ikebukuro neighborhood, but the broadcast date has not been announced.

Finally I can see the rest of the story, hopefully they'll cover the full source material. One thing I'm definitely excited about will be the return of the Shizuo vs Izaya fights and ofc the return of my fav character, Celty. Had to wait a while so I think I can handle waiting a bit more for it to come out whenever it does.

Is Shuka a brand new studio? I can't find any mention of them anywhere.

Either way, this makes me very happy.

Yeah, the part about the new animation studio was equally shocking with this announcement. Brain Base did an amazing job with Durarara and Baccano. So the old staff just left Brain Base and formed their own studio?

I'm not sure on the exact details but Studio Shuka will be involved with the production based on sources from CR, ANN, and its official site I believe.

I'm kind of worried about their budget with it being a new studio apparently. But I want to will believe they'll handle this project with care.

Well, from a twitter message:

Studio Shuka was formed by a producer on the previous Durarara!! series, which explains why so many familiar faces are present.
