Whenever I watch a good anime I always get this empty feeling and tend to not function properly for the first 3 or so days lol. This happened when I watched Toradora just now, so I'm going to be reclusive kk

You are experiencing a Void. Copious amounts of ice cream and a warm blanket are prescribed.

That's how you know the show was good! It's a good feeling! It tells you something awesome happened, and you're not ok with it being over.

And it's notish the same as Video Games, in which the Sequel refills the void. Dark Souls 2 has just entered the world, and it's filled my Low-Fantasy fighting Game void back up where it belongs.

If only From Software would pick back up Armored Core and fix that up too!

Well, Durarara is getting a Sequel. But it's only half as good as Bacanno so, take that news with a grain of salt.

That, or go watch Older Anime, that way the void probably has more filling. Fist of the North Star, Gundam, Macross. They have sequels upon sequels!!

It's on a personal level where for each of us we decide what shows we like for ourselves.

I used to get voids, but I don't anymore. Now it's usually just inspiration for what I should do next. If I can marathon an anime then it is a good anime, that is how it works for me. If I get bored while trying to marathon it, then it's probably doing something wrong.

I'd have to say my favorite anime of all time ever is:
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
- The show kept me on the edge of my seat, I loved every bit of it, and even the ending left me satisfied. I really cannot imagine any way for the series to continue, perfect ending. 10/10, the standard I judge every other adventure anime by.

Other series I consider marathonable:
Bakuman - 9/10
Gundam 00 - 8/10
Death Note up to episode 26 - 9/10 (I don't care at all what happens after that episode, as far as I am concerned, anime ends there.)
Attack on Titan - 7/10 , this one forced me to read the manga, unfortunately the manga isn't quite as good as the anime.

And for the most part I was happy with how those animes ended... Gundam 00 Trailblazer was a horrible ending though... it's like having having James Cameron direct 90% of a movie, then giving Michael Bay the ending. Utterly retarded.

After I finished that anime. It took me a few days to get back to normal. The feels were strong on that one for me.

Prepare to become a recluse once more my friend! That one took me out for a couple days! Just fill the void with
more anime! It'll take your mind off the empty feeling.
