Wasn't keen on the animation style, but I'm used to it now and like how things are going. Anyone find out how many episodes this is?

I really like this series, but goddamn are the character relationships flimsy.

Episode 3 was awesome, the pressure is seriously on now! I love a series with plenty of disposable characters. This is the only show this season I have a hard time waiting each week for, other than mushi-shi of course.

I like this so far. For far future SF, it's got an interesting premise though we don't know much in the way of details after 3 episodes. The battles are the main appeal, I think. But, I really dislike the fact that while the space battles are well animated, but the rest of the show has a soft-focus, lack of details animation style. Overall, nothing great but nothing terribly bad either.

I'm liking the environments and sets ups a lot. I think they're doing a good job of creating a post apocalyptic world and a fairly realistic take on mechas. However they really need to slow down. They're cramming in way too much per episode. If it would just slow down and take a bit more time to develop it could be something really special.

Really liking this series. It's definitely a slow burn, but it's interesting and has a unique feel despite being mecha vs aliens as a billion other shows are. Seems like the creators were willing to take some chances and try something different with art style and music, and I appreciate that =)

The difference between this and most other mecha anime is that the mechas are realistic and don't seem OP at all, the main character is just a naturally gifted pilot. Too many mechas rely on a main character with some corny supernatural power (compare this to Captain Earth for example, a totally generic mecha with all the usual tropes.) They've set up the Gauna as a fearsome enemy-look at the lengths the Captain went just to temporarily avoid one of them. Also, back to Captain Earth, compare the Gauna to the Captain Earth enemy-a sexy intergalactic crepe merchant-that show makes me roll my eyes constantly, I can't even watch it anymore. I'm used to the art style at this point and think it works for this show. The music and sound are extremely well done. This is a real gem and I hope more people discover it.

yup..yup..yup...the gauna is as fearsome, and crazy as they become, and it will be crazier later on, as it is able to adapt with every situation you throw at it, and mimic most thing, like those higgs cannon...sooo stick with it, you guys will not be dissapointed..

especially later on, when we will see.....
if you guys know what i mean... hint : google it...

Well that was a bit of a brutal one. Though at least they managed to slay the beast in the end. Will be interesting to see what will happen in the next episode.
