I'm really into architecture and though it would be a cool idea to make a series about an upcoming architect. Some who aren't interested in the subject might right it off as a boring premise, but I think it could work. I know people who have no interest in basketball, yet love Kuroko's Basketball. What are some of your interest that would make for a good anime/manga?

The architect idea could work; after watching Bakuman, anything's possible if you're passionate enough!

As for me, I'd like something along the lines of Gokusen, but with a serious tone (i.e. new/idealistic teacher dealing with inner-city problems like class violence, bullying, suicides, teen pregnancy, gun control, corrupt officials and burnt-out teachers, parents who don't care, etc) and believable protagonist (not some mobster's daughter or man/woman with super powers).

I'd also LOVE for an OAV (three or four episodes would be enough) that touched on PTSD and various people coping with it. If done right, it could be profound and eye-opening; if not, stereotypical, crude, and insulting.

A show about pre-school kids with Dragon Ball-level super powers. Make it a psychological thriller too just for gags.

Great idea. Maybe you could do a play off Fountainhead except add the usual anime/manga touches.

Why is everyone always bashing the sports genre? But a teen-pregnancy anime doesn't sound half bad.

What's wrong withe sports genre? Some of my favoritest anime/mangas are Hajime no Ippo (boxing), Eyeshield 21 (American football), and Major (baseball), and with the exception of Eyeshield, the other two are retardedly popular almost everywhere.

Not me, Kuroko's basketball and Hajime no Ippo are in my top 10 series of the last 10 years list

For those talking about a teen pregnancy anime, I think it'd work better as a movie or something. I'd like to see an anime that addresses real life issues, not just your typical school life, moe moe anime or an anime with an OP main character!

I think I should write something up, I know a lot about architecture(have a 5yr degree in it) and can write something about architecture school. My only problem is I can draw buildings great, but am just okay at drawing human representation.

I've always admired pristine architecture in anime, especially since I cannot draw buildings to scale, not to mention how particularly tedious I find the process... So many straight lines....

Obviously we need a parody anime that unveils wtf happened to the missing Malaysian flight.
