You all have one; that one anime series that you keep putting off. For me its the Macross series, I put that series on my list when I was 14 and I'm going to be 22 in a few months... I keep joking with my friends that at this point I might as well put it off for another few years just so I can say that I procrastinated doing something for an entire decade.

Bringing this up cause I decided I would get something major off my list during my break from school, looked right at Macross and went to go catch up to the Monogatari series... not saying I regret my decision, I discovered that I do in fact love the Monogatari series Hyped for the movie.

There are some anime that are really popular that i just haven't even begun to watch.

Fate Series- I don't know a damn thing about this series...at all. I hear Fate Stay Night is not that good compared to Fate/Zero and im not one to watch the 2nd series without watching the 1st; doesn't matter if you can and still understand it.

Monogatari Neko- Suffered through the first two series' after dropping it alot...and i mean alot.

Arguably watching Fate/Zero and then the Fate/Stay Night remake would be the ideal strategy. I'm pretty sure the only thing you'd get out of doing the reverse is spoiling the ending of Fate/Zero before you watched it (since it's a prequel).

The original Fate/Stay Night adaptation wasn't even as bad as everyone claims. It was decent, at best. While it would be better to watch Fate/Zero and then the new Fate/Stay Night remake, you can still watch the original 2006 Fate/Stay Night adaptation and it wouldn't really matter.

I have never had an anime I could not watch at least one episode of, but many I have abandoned almost as fast.

This isn't usually because it surprised me, but because I figured I would know ever joke 30 seconds before the punchline, every pratfall 10 seconds before it happened, and who would fall in love with who 10 episodes before I got there. Even then, I also had to tell myself, "Not only do I know, but I know I don't care either."

More than just one of those...

Attack on Titan and Madoka. I didn't start on Madoka for a really long time. I only watched ep 1 of Attack on Titan because of the amazing opening music (I don't like shows that are too gruesome...)

This also happened with Angel beats, and has happened with K-on...

It also happened with Kill la Kill because of the description, but I'm happy I saw it because it was much better than my low expectations for it were originally.

I need to see more of Neon Genesis Evangelion. I know everything that happens, but for some reason I've never gotten the motivation to watch it. I have a friend that really loves the show, so I know a lot about it.

Ghost Hunt. Got really into the first 3 episodes until they figured out that
than got pissed assuming the whole show is going to be like that. I'll get to it eventually.

The original Fate/Stay Night wasn't a horrible adaptation but I definitely wouldn't call it a good one either, even going on the one route that it was adapting. Part of the problem though is that the three routes were not meant to be viewed as separate entities and you can't fully appreciate the series without going through everything. Which is why I was happy about the rumor of the original route for the anime, since it would be adapt everything or go original.

Alright, if you ignore the visual novel entirely it was decent. Which is what I did. That's what I meant.
