1. The ability to create facial expressions that are impossible in real life.
2. Ability to create over-the-top-stories that aren't ridiculously cheesy (well, sometimes).
3. Cheap entertainment when you just pay for streaming.

1. It's one of the more creative media and a lot of interesting ideas can be explored openly and without hesitation.

2. It introduces me to a lot of ideas I didn't know previously and it can make me interested in a lot of different activities I didn't appreciate prior to watching them.

3. It can provide a fair bit of insight into how people may think, and does it in an entertaining way.

(Bonus) #4. It can be epic, hilarious, and not make sense, but still be understandable and enjoyed by people.

Far more creative plot & characters. They are more detailed and have real depth, thus you want to see how the deal/live.

Art styles, it's radically different within shows as well as across shows. It makes it so much more beautiful.

It can be hilarious, while being dark and being epic in one scene. Basically it does stuff no other media dares to and quite frankly, I think they can't pull it off.

3. Code Geass and Zetsuen no Tempest and Deathnote, need I explain?

1. All the creativity. While the tropes and structures are fairly uniform, what's done with them can be anything.

2. Appreciating the beauty in the final product, both in terms of art, animation, and narrative quality.

3. The themes are a lot less self-interested than you see in most western media, which is refreshing.

1. The diversity of the stories, characters, art, and animation. I have very specific tastes, and I can always find an anime or two that'll fit my qualifications; something that I have yet to be able to do with other media.

2. The insight into Japanese culture

3. It makes me happy! Anime is a huge stress reliever, and I enjoy trying out new shows and rewatching old favorites. Why wouldn't I love it?
