I don't know who's in the middle.... He looks kinda...original character-ish.

But who doesn't know at least one of those fellows? Char? Roger? Kallen? Simon? Amuro freaking Ray?

Wow, Gundam has it's primary Rivals BOTH up on this picture. I wonder how many people can actually tell?

I Love this picture

Why do I love anime?

Becuase I always like the animated works , its fun entertaining medium.. and it takes you to a different world of the characters very easily... .

I don't know really, I like the comedy, the romance the epic fights and of course the interesting stories that you can see in some series.

And also the slice of life genre, I love series in that genre.

But I love almost everything so (:

For me its

1) The ability to put into action a vivid imagination - especially when the MC is crazy and does weird stuff.
2) The pure suspension of disbelief and disconnect from reality - doesn't suffer from "no thats not possible" because they don't look lifelike
3) The ability to connect to a person at the emotional level - whether its Yowapeda and a bunch of dudes who can relate to bicycle training, or a soft melancoly ride like Air, Anime can connect to their audience through an invisible emotional string.

1. The art. I also love how it varies by studio and by production team even if they are under the same studio.

2. The stories. Nothing else I've seen compares to the level of detail and creativity that goes into anime and manga, save for book authors.

3. The characters. In all my years of reading manga and watching anime, I have come across many memorable characters, and many of them I still genuinely love today even if the series they are featured in as a whole wasn't amazing.

1) It's got a lot more range than a lot of other things. The humour is funnier, the fight scenes are better, etc
2) Art style. Eyes and hair (a bit odd i love that so much, but eh?). Want an example. Krista Lenz (
) is a perfect example. http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130811104040/shingekinokyojin/images/c/c1/Krista_close-up.png
3) Range. This one is different from the first in the sense that entire animes can take storylines that no other genre can take on, and it is still acceptable (Wanna give a girl robot legs, have her destroy half the city, open a worm hole, defeat a giant space toad and then save the earth? If there's any place that'll happen, it's anime)

1. Large number of genres and possibilities in terms of action and plot (because of the range offered by the art) is also often self aware of its own cliches (whereas other forms of media are often in denial of the existence of cliche, even when it is very clearly there). It is unpretentious, all out, and funny.

2. Beautiful art.

3. Beautiful soundtracks - I love listening to different opening and ending themes.

1 - A lot of anime is really cute (since it's aimed at children, it kind of has to be lol) and boy oh boy do I have a weakness for cute things.
2 - Anime regularly features openly homosexual characters.
3 - Like others have said, it focuses on many different settings aside from just America.

1) It allows me to get away from my boring life while the anime is on.
2) Good anime can move me emotionally such as Clannad After Story moved me to tears.
3) Anime allows me to find people with similar interests.
