I think you should go ahead and get it if you really want it. If its a tattoo that will make you happier then go for it.

Tattoos = aesthetics

Personal stuff are better kept in a diary.

My opinion, of course.

Do what you want! Just think about it and be sure!!!
(My little sister has done some tattoo removal and says it is 10 times more painful than getting the tattoo)

I'd rather get a tattoo that has meaning, even if it only meant something to me.

I have two tattoos the FMA ouroboros on my right shoulder & my Fairy Tail guild mark on my neck. sure at first they just look like anime tattoos but for the ouroboros its a dragon eating itself bringing creation out of destruction by always eating & regenerating itself, I look at that as I continue to advance & learn, I'm destroying the old me & constantly creating a new. for my fairy tail tattoo well its my favorite anime/manga, love the entire guild, anyone who watches/reads it & likes it is a friend to me. hell I'v seen other people with the tattoo were all just family in Fairy Tail! & lets not forget the life lessons & morals all of us have learned from watching or reading anime/manga.

I don't actually have any pictures of the finished sleeve. I had it done over the course of a year. I'm a wimp and only liked sitting for 4-6 hour sessions. It was probably on the record of 60 hours? And I think when it was all said and done around 3K for the entire thing.

It's your body, do whatever you want with it (as long as you can live with your choices 10, 20, 30 years down the road).

Took the words right out of my mouth

(Though if you're getting a tattoo in something other than your native language, you'd better know exactly what it means first I've seen quite a few tattoos where if the person knew what the characters really meant, there is no way they would've gotten them in the first place.)

I like the image you linked. Futuristic I think it will look okay and still be cool years to come.

I have lots of tattoos but each one represents a meaning or at least a time in my life. I don't regret any of them, infact they help me to remember certain things. :)

A lot of people tend to get tattoos done simply because they like the design and nothing more and while I don't quite understand it I think it's fine, as long as you don't think you will regret it in years to come.

Your body, your choice.

I'd make 200% sure you really, REALLY like a design before permanently dying it onto your skin, though.

(Things keeping me from getting a tattoo: time, cost, pain, and possible regret.)

I'm jealous, only because you have a sleeve. I just want to even imagine having the money for a sleeve. But since that is in a far off dream world right now I will just have to deal with getting a Fairy Tail tattoo. Probably a chest one since my right arm currently has the tattoo representing my memory to a friend, and I am saving my left just in case I ever DO have the money for a sleeve. XD
