Brave Story.

Sometimes I've wondered what makes a hero. There's no end of main characters who really don't have any hero cred other than fighting bad guys and winning. They don't really have to make any hard decisions, they don't really see defeat, and they get everything they were out to get.

But Wataru makes some difficult decisions, and what's more, he can make the decision to sacrifice what he cares about for the sake of what others care about. He messes up royally, but still tries his hardest to make things right. That, and the villains are manipulative and shrewd, and have no qualms with playing people to get what they want. They're as cunning as they are powerful.

The heroes are actually heroes, the villains are actually villains, but still the characters seem human and not like evil dude with evil goal and evil plan.

HxH is an awesome series, but it's a slow moving at first. Stick with it, it's very unique with an outstanding plot.

Kingdom. A rags to riches story where there exist actual wars and not bs wars. (You know with troops and tactics and awesome generals)

Shokuku no Altair. A realistic political Manga in the renaissance period. Follows a poltician as he tries to save his country from being invaded. His solutions are quite clever.

Gunka No Baltzar- Your typical Badass teacher Manga but set in a military academy with politics, war, and high school life. (if it includes army management and firearms instruction)

Instant Bullet. Just read it.

Kurosagi. its a handbook on how to commit all kinds of frauds. So if you want some cash, highly recommend.

And Lastly Las Boss X Hero. Gintama lovers would love this Manga. It is essentially a Manga author getting trolled by his own Manga.

Hmmm... of the Manga I personally own, the only one that I didn't get a recommendation to start reading it, and only saw mentioned like once or twice maybe on this site, is Vinland Saga. But I can't say if everyone should know about it yet as I have yet to read it. It's on the to-read list. Everything else I own, or read "elsewhere" were all recommendations or BIG time series like Fairy Tail, Kimi ni Todoke, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc etc.

Well, you get my recommendation. It's one of the best seinen out there.

I know just about everyone knows it, but I think that Death Note is something that everyone should read. Words can't explain how amazing I think it is and how deep the themes and plot are.

There is another one I read a long time ago. Unfortunately I have forgotten the title, but it was about a girl who creates an imaginary cell phone in her head and finds that with it she is able to talk to others. It was only a few chapters long but it had a deeply touching story. If the stories sounds familiar, let me know the title so I can add it again to my collection.

EDIT: Calling You is the name of the manga. If you can find it. Read it.

I would honestly have to say Ratman. The reason behind this is, its a manga about superheros, who are all also corporate mascots, with the exception of the main character. He's the "villain" of the series, despite the fact that he originally wanted to become a superhero. I'd recommend people to read it, but be warned:

Aside from that, Zero no Tsukaima(yes, it was light stories, and the writer is a bit of a perv, (and dead) but I still liked it) and Love Hina (could be due to age, though).

Angel Densetsu. It's A really silly manga, but so very serious, yet somehow it works. It's about a Forrest Gump sort of character who accidentally, and unknowingly becomes the head of his school's gang, and the other members of the gang go through almost the entirety of the story without realising the main character is actually a really nice guy, due to his face being so terrifying.
