I'm glad to see so many people putting Koe no Katachi down. It makes me happy.

I'd really have to say Densha Otoko, and I'm pretty sure there are multiples versions of this out, but I'm referring to the version by Hara Hidenori. It's not my favorite manga in the world or anything, but I think its perfect in a sense, like I feel like it did what it was supposed to, and did it well. It's tthhe kinda manga you can just sit down and read and be happy. I think it's truly a very good manga. So for something I think "Everyone should read", I would say Densha Otoko. It's short too, I read it in one sitting

Want action? Adventure? Tragedy? Mystery? Romance? Comedy? Drama? Check out Kubera !!

actually everyone should know about Korean webtoons in general, they have had the best stories, and have pretty, full-color art.

I'd recommend Berserk for those who're not squeamish. I could write paragraphs about why I think it's the best manga I've ever read or probably will ever read. Rather I'm just going to say please try it.

i just discovered this one three days ago, the animation was really good, the manga's not bad either. It's a fairly typical shounen but eh, I like it. ^^

I personally nominate Mahoraba. It's not a masterpiece by any means, but it's still an excellent slice-of-life romcom. And no one I've ever talked to about it has ever heard of it yet. ~60 chapters

You forgot the drama, tearjerkers, and complete badassery in the last third at the least.

Yumekui Merry <fantasy>

Beautiful characters in a wonderfully imaginative world. There is a lot of depth through the very interesting story of dreams and reality there is a lot of simply badass characters that aren't there just to be OP.

Horimiya <romance>

Oh god, why isn't there an anime for this yet!? I would literally throw all the money in the world at it. Absolutely beautiful art done by Hagiwara Daisuke, and the story is just too damn cute.

I see no feedback from people checking out the recommendations, so I start: of those I read into, Koe no Katachi really stood out, perhaps a classic in the making if the author can keep it up.

For me it's a tie between...

Tekkon kinkreet by Taiyou Matsumoto. The movie is also recommended, but there's a special feeling only found in the manga, I think.

and...

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou by Hitoshi Ashinano. Simply put the comfiest manga ever.

Bakuman, Great Teacher Onizuka, Boys over Flowers, Full Metal Panic, Detective Conan.

They're all really popular and really well done.
