yes it should make a sound, unless it was done in a controlled lab, inside a vacuum.

If we're to examine the philosophy behind my answer it essentially assumes that there is a world whose existence and characteristics are not dependent upon our subjective experiences of them. There is sound whether someone hears it or not, and if they do hear it then their perception of what the sound is like in no way changes the sound's true nature. Repeatedly listening to the sound, having others listen to it, and corroborating our experiences of the sound draws us closer to ascertaining its true nature.

the sound is but vibrations of particles in the air as a result of the impact caused from the collision
if there are no particles in the air, such as in vacuum, there cannot possibly be a vibration, and therefore no sound can be made

Again ill go with check for spiders because you know that seems to be the popular thing to do now.

Why YES, of course! Sounds aren't dependent on an audience, lol.

I HATE it when people say this question has no answer.

It does!

Sound is just vibrations in the air, so those vibrations will be there, whether you hear it or not...

If you define sound as compression waves in the medium of air, than no it won't make a sound in a vacuum.
