This is definitely shoujo, King Livius is moe as fuck.

lol How you liking it tho?

Quite a bit. It's a really soothing story, I guess; and Nike has a nice collection of character traits.

I think it's definitely going to be worth watching if they keep going in the same direction with the character developments.

The anime's focus is about how the Sun King enjoys life and all it's wonders again through falling in love with Nike, instead of the whole "I will do anything for you because I love you" thing that is normally the focus of shojo mangas. Nike seems like a self sufficient character as well, which is really rare for shojo.

Like with watching Is This Order a Rabbit? this show too is a nice break. It knows how to mix in the humor, courting, tragic memories, and the desire to show someone there's more to life than the dullness they experience day in and day out. Nike is a great character and the King is not far off either.

This was actually pretty interesting. The story itself was light and kinda worth continuing.

So far, I'm finding this series very enjoyable. Nike is adorable with a good balance of immaturity and maturity. Livius is also adorable, being slightly more mature than Nike but just as immature as her as well. All of the characters are well balanced so far with good amount of comedy to it. I can't wait to see how this show progresses.

My only disappointment is Nike's song xD...It's enjoyable in a corny way but I wish it was more...."mystical" in a way, something that could put you in mesmerized state

This show would be perfect if the Sun King wasn't a kid.

He's 15, and Nike is... I'm not sure, 17? It's not an eyebrow-raising difference, really.

Episode 4

Living as a queen sure has it's perks, but as Nike is finding out, it can be a drag considering that the one event of the year that citizens look forward to is just around the corner. But she may not be royalty after the engagement was cancelled simply for being a foreigner and now she comes face-to-face with the king's biggest enemy, a priest. Proving herself worthy by going through that trial to venture into an extremely dangerous place to ought to solve all the problems, but that's a trap. The mood has quickly shifted here as now, the enemies are making their move to dethrone Livi. Things sure are getting intense now that the enemies are showing their faces, and I am so liking it.

Probably the best of the season, and just getting better. I like mega-love this show.

Also, the rebels are playing a dangerous game with this one, Livius is NOT gonna be pleased.

Episode 4

SHEER MALICE. Damn, this episode is intense. I think not only the king is targetted here but Nike as well at that house of Gods or whatever place they call it. I call this Ritual of Illumination bullshit though. Feels like Nike is a scapegoat here...

Anyways, I really liked the episode by the direction it takes to illustrate that their world has both ugly and the beautiful.
