Hey, guys!

What spectacular ways of depicting crowd in anime/manga you rememer?

So far I 've seen four, but I haven't watched THAT much anime. If someone knows more - please describe, and name the series it is from!

Here's those I know:

1. Crowd is not colored, whereas the known characters are - no need in examples, that's ubiquitous
2. Strangers are depicted in artistically more minimalist way - example: Kill me Baby!
3. Reverse to 1: main character black and white, strangers - painted - example: Watamote (

4. From Watamote episode 2

Thanks!

p.s. 2 of 4 from WATAMOTE! (well, similar methods might have been used in other works, but still, aren't those series amazing...)

This might fall into your #2 category, but Kyousougiga has some GORGEOUS crowd fillers in episode 00 (and I think later in the series, as well).

Soul eater is the one that comes to my mind, simply because they have some of the dullest crowds I've seen.

Forgive this repost of a picture I made for a separate thread, but Meganebu is ... unique ... in its handling of the faceless nobodies.

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the titles!

rcsatcrunchyroll: I checked Meganebu - their crowdfillers are indeed outright insane! thanks

iblessall: thank you just watched beginning of Kyousougiga - it is kind of _different_ for what I've watched before
like you have to stay on your toes while watching, every second/details, or you can miss some artistic greatness

Phoenixian: Soul eater one of first to come to my mind when I think of colorless too Thanks for posting the picture - nice/funny slogan :)

I think it's odd but strong bet that any of the anime searched by technique specific criteria will be something interesting in all aspects, and it turns out to be so

Nice weekend you all, thanks again!
