lulululullz no XD Naruto actually is almost dead, he had the 9 tails extracted from him by obito/madara (madara took control over obito's body). now Madara is the sage of the sixth paths. and Gui opened up the final gate, the 8th gate. Naruto has his father's 9 tails chakra put into him. That's where it is in the Manga

yes, but thats not how it will end, rt? im up to date on the manga & anime. naruto has all 9 chakras in him already - back when he learned their names, but because it was a little bit, it took a while & prolly coaching form ichibi and hatt-san to get it going. or maybe obito uses some uchiha something er nother. :)

anyway - i thought, philosophically, there were some that wld feel, like, that naruto must die. Or that saske must win! anyway, fun to guess.

Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Izanagi and Izanami are all traditional Shinto God's associated with foundational myths of Japan. The three Seinin are also mythical figures as are all of the tailed beasts. The legends of Jiraiya the toad sage, Orochimaru the Snake, and Princess Tsunade are more modern myths but also popular folklore. The jewels around Naruto's neck when he transforms into the Kitsune chakra mode are Maitama one of the three great treasures of Japan also tied into the Susanoo myth. Sasuke is the name of a popular mythical shinobi so popular in Japanese culture. I don't know about how Naruto will end but you can examine the Kojiki the Shinto holy book or popular zen Buddhist traditions throughout the show. It might be that the show will draw on more of those myths for its ending especially as the Hermit of the Six Paths is depicted as a spiritual figure and *spoilers* he is featured in the most recent volume and he is discussing cycles of reincarnation and the perversion of spiritual energy for the purpose of warfare. I would say that the end of Naruto will focus on the end of the need for Shinobi. Perhaps the erasure of all Jutsu. Also Naruto will become revered as the Hokage whether or not the village exists or not.
