I've been watching some English dubs of anime that I've seen on Sub, and I'm actually wondering what kind of anime you guys think has some good English dubs.

Cowboy Bebop, Clannad, Black Lagoon, Steins Gate, and the upcoming Attack on Titan dub sounds pretty good as well.

FMA, Black Lagoon, and Soul Eater have been said already, but I'll second those. Others I liked were Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, Welcome to the NHK, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (though I did like the original better), Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (though it only covers the first season so I would recommend skipping it), and Scrapped Princess,

In particular, I really like the dubs for Baccano! and Cromartie High School, and actually think for those two anime, you're missing out if you watch them in the original Japanese. Baccano!'s casting is done well, and because it's set largely in the United States, English voices just make sense. The accents aren't spot on, but they're still well-done, and add a dimension to the voicing that you wouldn't catch watching it in a language you're not fluent in. As for Cromartie, well, the English cast just absolutely nailed it. Nothing more to say, really: the jokes are perfectly timed and perfectly toned. Props especially to MC Kamiyama's actor, who pulls off the protagonist's very strange personality without a hitch.

Also, if you feel like some inappropriate humour, check out the official dub for Ghost Stories. It's basically an abridged series, except full-length and done by professionals.

I'm a big fan of Berserk's English dub. Anybody who thinks Berserk is bad, hasn't seen it in their language. Some shows just need to be experienced in a language you speak.

It sounds like someone hasn't heard the Spanish Dub of Dragonball Z. Mario Castaneda just has that voice, the perfect voice.
Like Japanese Luffy, English Zoro, and English Spike.

However!

Some characters transcend their voice actors, dub's, and animations.

GTO's Onizuka is good in every language and style. Manga or Live Action, Anime or Light Novel. It doesn't matter, he's Onizuka.

Same goes for Lupin the 3rd and his entire gang.

And...other characters I'm sure. But those stick out to me.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

literally the only one where i felt like i was listening to actual characters instead of poorly executed voice acting.

well when Ghibli teams up with Disney it's usually not too bad. i have not been impressed with funi/aniplex/what-have-you's choice of actors.

I'm biased towards the Spanish language- I'll never like it due to living in El Paso.
Aside from that, Berserk was, well is, amazing. I don't see how someone could dislike it- especially not the three movies that WB released!

Many have decent dubs. But what I rate as the best.

Already mentioned
1. Cowboy Bebop
2. Black Lagoon
3. Full Metal Alchemist

Not mentioned
1. Ghost in the shell: SAC
2. My Bride is a Mermaid
3. Inuyasha
4. Samurai 7
5. Moribito

I have seen and own lots of anime, but those are the ones that really stand out for being above and beyond the norm.

NAUSICAA WAS AN AMAZING ENGLISH DUB. I could be biased because I saw it as a kid before any other anime so I was utterly amazed. But it was still great.

I think Code Geass Dub wasn't too bad, although I'm not too sure how I feel about the show itself

Black Butler, although this one's either you love it or hate it. Also Code Geass, Durarara, Darker Than Black, and G-Gray-man.
