I grew up watching Devilman and was excited to watch Zetman. It had a lot of cool ideas that never really were pushed and had a horrible ending. Some other anime's that I felt were good, but rushed are shadow skill and Claymore. Fate Stay Night was barely average while Fate Zero is in my top 5 of all time anime, hopefully the reboot does the series justice.

Choose 1 anime that you think had untapped potential that you would reboot
-add a picture
-title
-and reason for a reboot

-Claymore
-a pretty good show 7.5/10, but had a rushed ending and wasn't totally fleshed out.

most anime have rushed endings especially ones that have a long running manga as the backbone.

If that is the case then most of those anime need reboot.

Its a what if, is it that hard to think of an anime you wish had a reboot? Its been done plenty of times: Guyver,Hunter X Hunter, Jojo's Bizarre adventure,Fate Stay Night this fall.

Deadman Wonderland

It started off great and the animation was very fluid, but there was almost no character development, it lost focus midway and moved away from the death games that made the beginning so awesome, and the ending was very rushed, not explaining anything nor resolving anything.

Mmm, I looked for it but couldn't find it. At least, it mentioned reboots of series, but then again that isn't necessarily the same as this thread. And, I don't really feel like searching for it anymore...

Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love Comedy wo Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru

&

Kanokon

Why?

I was looking for something to fill my Nyaruko void and these were outed as basically clones of her. I dissappoint. No one has been able to replace Nyaruko for me thus far.

Sorry if that sounded like a lame example.

Lunar Legend Tsukihime (TV) | http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=2938

Could that be it? I'm not familiar with it. Ran a Google search and read this on Wikipedia:

Tsukihime (月姫?, lit. Lunar Princess) is a Japanese adult dōjin visual novel created by Type-Moon, who first released it at the Winter Comiket in December 2000. It was adapted in 2003 into an anime series, Shingetsutan Tsukihime, produced by J.C.Staff and Geneon, and a manga series, which was serialized between October 2003 and September 2010 in MediaWorks' seinen magazine Dengeki Daioh, with 10 volumes released. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsukihime

If that isn't the same one, just ignore my post.

I've never seen the Anime or played the visual novel but I have a feeling that those fans are purposely ignoring the Anime's existence.
