Tsukihime, if it was made by Ufotable it would be awesome

There is no Tsukihime anime.

Lunar Legend Tsukihime (TV) | http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=2938

Could that be it? I'm not familiar with it. Ran a Google search and read this on Wikipedia:

Tsukihime (月姫?, lit. Lunar Princess) is a Japanese adult dōjin visual novel created by Type-Moon, who first released it at the Winter Comiket in December 2000. It was adapted in 2003 into an anime series, Shingetsutan Tsukihime, produced by J.C.Staff and Geneon, and a manga series, which was serialized between October 2003 and September 2010 in MediaWorks' seinen magazine Dengeki Daioh, with 10 volumes released. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsukihime

If that isn't the same one, just ignore my post.

Once again, there is no Tsukihime anime. There is only the Visual Novel and Manga. We need an anime adaption of it, right away. *blink, blink*

May I also add that we need a new Kenshin anime with practically no fillers unlike the 90s version? And god, let it not be animated by Studio Deen, let it be by Studio Madhouse instead.

Could that be it? I'm not familiar with it. Ran a Google search and read this on Wikipedia:

It is a common occurrence for Tsukihime fans to disavow the anime that was made.

I didn't think it was terrible, but I am completely ignorant of the source material, unlike those fans. Frankly, if it was that bad in comparison, I would love to see a more faithful adaptation.

What I remember most about it is that I took an almost instant liking to Arcueid for some reason, and thus found the ending disappointing.

Guess I'm the only one who wants more anime shows rather than taking a manga/video game/light novel/etc then making it into an anime show.

Too bad for me I guess.

Hah! Yeah, it does seem that way. I didn't realize it was so disliked by fans of the source material..

I think I remember when it was released, but I'm sure I didn't watch it. I'm curious now. I know someone who has quite an extensive Pioneer/Geneon DVD collection. I'm going to hit him up tomorrow and see if I can check out the first DVD. If he doesn't have it, Amazon is still selling it for 7 bucks. I may pop for the first DVD just to see what it's about.

Kenshin would be awesome to have a reboot. The sad thing is they would need to give him and everyone else new voices

I totally agree with this statement.

Nothing wrong with doing adaptations, but there's always something lost when adapting to another media type.

Deadman Wonderland

It started off great and the animation was very fluid, but there was almost no character development, it lost focus midway and moved away from the death games that made the beginning so awesome, and the ending was very rushed, not explaining anything nor resolving anything.

I agree 100%, loved the concept and main plot, but the story was rushed.

Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro

The anime was adapted from the manga which I love, after all it is my personal favorite. The anime started off alright but when it got around the halfway point, they started to rush things a bit. It was a shame too because one of my favorite arcs from the manga suffered a bit from the rushing. What really threw it off was an original anime ending which didn't really deliver. At the time, the manga was still on-going but now it's completed. I think a reboot is well deserved and I would be so stoked if one day it would come to pass.

I would love to see such scenes animated...

I was very disappointed with the Skip Beat anime. I just felt like the ending was sooo incomplete. I've kept up on the manga and I wish they would have at least finished the arc they were on before ending it. :((
