For those who don't know, the info ultimasephiroth posted applies to Nissan engine codes...

Subaru engine codes
EJ20 = 2.0L modern Subaru boxer engine (used in JDM Subaru Impreza WRX STI)

EJ257 = 2.5L modern Subaru boxer engine (used in USDM/UKDM Subaru Impreza WRX STI)

Oh yeah. I might as well let everyone know that Nissan names a bunch their cars after their engines.

CA18=180SX
KA24=240SX
VQ30=300ZX
VQ35=350Z/G35
SR20=200SX (Eh, a bunch of things came with the SR20 before the 200SX, so don't ask me. I also believe they came with other engines)

Also, you can determine a lot about the engine from the name.
CA18=1.8L
KA24=2.4L
VQ30=3L
You get the idea. The lettering, though, is still a mystery to me. WHERE DID THEY COME UP WITH CA, KA, SR, AND VQ?!?!

Yeah... Nissan is pretty much random and unoriginal at the same time.

I feel like this isn't a proper dictionary. Just a bunch of acronyms decyphered. How about actual definitions for words like monocoque, monobeam, and spaceframe?
