I personally stay away since I don't fit into that group of people. It's just not me. Though what do I think about them? I guess they're alright.. Some of them are a little over the top to the point where it makes me cringe. But other than that, they're okay.

yeah. they're cool.

but like most people's (in real life) tastes are different from mine... can never find anyone who has heard of flowers of evil or cuticle detective, those two shows are like my two most favourites.

Whoa now, slow down.
I think the anime community's too diverse to be clumped into one like that. It's an awful lot like a bad teenage movie high school.
You have the elitist anime fans, the mainstream-only anime fans, the cutesy anime fans, the still weeaboos, the casual anime fans, the cosplayers, the multi-mediums, the hipsters, the fanartists, thug anime fans...
And everyone fights with everyone depending on what site you go on to chat. :I
Crunchyroll is one of the few where there isn't much conflict, probably because it's so discussion based and really hard to stand out as an individual here.
But on Tumblr...man, I've seen people get ripped for silly mistakes, acting cute, saying the wrong thing in the wrong crowd, shipping the wrong people...

The community is good. Like some people said, sometimes people can be over the top, but overall I think its good. Especially here on Crunchyroll

The anime community is fantastic, and you can express your inner thoughts and opinions without being ashamed or embarrassed. So yeah, it's an awesome group where you can be yourself and have fun
