I'm located in the US with an all-access membership, but for some reason now when I go to the manga section (using my PC) I can only view a handful of titles.
All of the titles were viewable until about a week ago, and I read all the available chapters of "A Silent Voice" as well as browsing several others. but when I click on it or any others in the "just out today" sidebar now I get a 404 page.

Is there any reason why most of the manga titles are suddenly inaccessible to me? Or is anyone else having this problem?

Open the /contact form and scroll down to Your System Details and make sure CR is detecting your country as the US. If not, log out, clear your cookies/cache and log back in.

Hmm, system details shows my detected country as "ZZ ()".

Tried clearing my cache and logging in several times, but the problem persists.

I would send a message to customer support using that form to see if they can sort it out from their end.

I wonder where the heck that country is.

Seriously, it would appear that either something triggered a bug in CR's IP geolocation system, or perhaps your IP address range is for some reason missing from the database.

Hopefully customer service will be able to resolve this when you contact them.

In the meantime, what is the result if you try accessing the latest chapter of those same manga if you are logged out? Also, if you have access to another PC or device that would be on the same network, do you get the same result (as I would expect if it is a IP geo-location problem)?

Reviving an old thread, but I'm having the same issue now. How was this resolved?

We have since learned that "zz" is a flag for an undetermined country.

I have to wonder if this isn't a side effect of the supply of IP4 addresses becoming short, and some companies and countries that hold large excesses selling those off. If whatever company handles the IP-geolocation database CR uses knows a block is up for sale, but doesn't know where it is going (which could end up being many different countries), they would have little choice but to mark it is "unknown".

Your best bet is to contact CR customer service and hope they can manually update their IP-geolocation database instead of having to simply wait on whatever company provides it to do so. While they can probably determine your last used IP address, it might be faster to give it to them in the contact form. If you don't know your external IP address, the easiest way to obtain it is to visit a site like IP Chicken.

Thanks for the confirmation on what to do. Appreciate the response. CR tech support asked me to log out and then in again, clearing cache and cookies, and, or renew my DHCP, of which neither will work. Figured CR would need to update their IP-geolocation database with my current IP, as opposed to waiting for it to be updated.

Did they walk you through renewing your DHCP on your modem, or just your computer? The latter would have no effect, as CR doesn't use your machine's local IP address if you are behind a router or any NAT-enabled device (which most cable and DSL modems are these days).

For most ISPs, DHCP leases for IP addresses can be rather long, so even powering down your modem overnight might not result in a different IP address (and even if so, it could result in one from the same problem pool). Still, that would be something you could try.

In a worst case scenario, you could contact your ISP about the problem and see if they could force an IP address update from their "old" IP addresses.

Have you had any issues with other larger geolocated services, such as Netflix or Hulu? I expect they are faster to update their databases due not only to their greater resources, but also their greater number of subscribers (i.e., more complaints when something like this happens).

Out of curiosity, what does this site show for your location?

He's in the same spot as the others who have reported it recently.

I noticed I had no problems with Netflix and other sites, and figured it was CR specific. I'm showing country ZZ, or unknown. Trying to work around the problem myself, which may or may not resolve the issue temporarily, seemed to be a second step after trying to get CR to resolve the issue on their end first. Thanks again for the input, hopefully this thread is useful to others as well.

If you are on Time Warner, then it is the same issue here:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-903523/only-2-manga-titles-showing-up-while-connected-to-home-network

I pointed CR support here and told them others are having the same issues and they responded that they've notified the CR devs.
