What do you guys think? I'd love to see the series come to crunchyroll this April, but I'm not sure if crunchy role will be able to obtain the rights...

IF THEY DO....I hope they later get the backlog of Fairy Tail. Like with One Piece now.

I want to rewatch Fairy Tail with 1080p and no ads.

They should have the second season here in my opinion. It would be amazing if that were to happen.

If someone required that I had to say whether CR would get it or not, and if I got it wrong I would be tortured to death, I would definitely go with, "They won't".

I think there is a slim chance CR will have a shared simulcast with Funimation, but I'm not expecting that. I would be equally surprised if Funimation didn't have it as a simulcast.

Man I want to know the crazed anime fan that would do that.

So I can avoid them.

Personally the best bet is it turning out like No-Rin with Funimation getting the North American streaming/home video rights. While Crunchyroll getting other regions of the world that Funimation will not stream for.

I don't know of an anime named Fairy Tale however I've heard of this amazing anime called Fairy Tail and love it. I remember it being on here for like... 2 days then it got removed.

The issue at hand is that Fairy Tail is one of Funimation's biggest properties right now and they probably want to keep it theirs for as long as possible. Their official facebook page for Fairy Tail is just shy of 800,000 followers and it sits at number 8 for all time streaming in hulu's anime section. These numbers do not mean much but it shows that there is potentially a lot of viewers to be had for them if they secure an exclusive license for North America. Even just 2% of those followers watching their streams is 16,000 viewers.
