Is the decreasing size of electronic devices a good thing?

Miniaturization is a great thing to have creates accessibility and portability which is why I love my Minigun.

depends on what devices we talking about. If it's most general things I would say it's fine the way it is now.

I think the miniaturization craze went a little overboard last decade, but we seem to have found a good spot these days. Of course with some things, like data storage, smaller will always be better.

Decreasing size in PC parts without sacrificing performance is always excellent. Not sure about everything else though.

Depends on the device. If it's a phone or something portable then yes, smaller is better since you'll usually have it on your person. If it's something like a PC then not neccessarily since you'll probably have the space for something like that anyway. Even then PCs aren't really decreasing in size anyway.

After seeing your last few threads I came into this one thinking that it was going to be about something entirely different

I barely know how to use a PC, never mind everything else they're coming out with these days, I couldn't care less.

Sometimes?
I find it funny personally that phones are competing for increasing thinness when the majority of people immediately wrap their fragile tiny phones up in huge silicone cases as soon as they buy them, hiding all their work in making thin phone.

When comes to accessibility and portability...yes. When it comes to being a technological advancement...kinda. It depends on what's being decreased in size.
