Have you ever had a moment in your life be like a movie? What I mean by that is like, car chase, shootout, romantic, and etc.

I Guess one for me was when, I was at a Camp for this program I was in. So one night during announcements after dinner it`s like between 7pm-10pm where we like talk, we have a speaker, stories, and etc. This took place in the announcement room up on this hill a bit from the camp. So about 1 hour into it. We heard screaming, like blood curdling screaming from a female voice getting stabbed to death. This caused all of us in our seats to get up instantly. We were split into groups and had to hide around the camp grounds, Because it was too risky incase there was a killing going on. Sitting there behind trees in silence, because the security guards heard running through the bushes and figures of something moving. Me and my group just stared through the dark forest for an hour in silence, and sweating in that summer night. Finally getting notified on call that it was a Mountain Lion that mimicked a woman's screaming.

A yes. Fisher cats, foxes, coyotes. So many animals, if you are not used to the woods, sound like children crying or screaming.

"Listen to the children of the night, what music they make!" Bluah, Bluah!

Not to be flippant, I'm sure it was terrifying. I've watched many people panic over sounds in the night they are sure are someone being massacred. I guess I'm just hopelessly used to it. I especially love people who swear that the barred owl's are Bigfoot because "No bird could make a sound like that!" Dragging them out with a flashlight is the only way to show them the angry thing making the sound has wings and is breaking branches to "show off".

That said, a cougar is every bit as dangerous... no, potentially more dangerous than a guy with a knife. You were probably right to hide in that case, although they probably weren't after campers if they were screaming, they were up to ... ahhh... something else at the time.

v Ah, so it was a staged prank, then? Part of the campfire stories?

So I was this geeky girl in HS in love with the super popular quarterback, and since he broke up with his cheerleader ex-gf he asked me to prom and I magically turned into this super hot girl in time for prom night and we won King and Queen. And then we broke down into song in the middle of the dance floor.

True story bro.

I have more anime moments than movie moments lol.

Me and a group of childhood friends (5 guys, 5 girls) would go on a roadtrip to the beach and have a bbq or something during summer vacay.

I have a huuuuuuuge crush on one of my childhood friends and idk how to tell her. All of my close friends know except her and they're trying to bring us together.

so yeah.

I stayed the night at a hotel when I went to MEPS. It was crazy stormy and the power went out in the hotel. To add to the creepy factor the hotel had this old castle style to it. Seemed like the start to a bad horror movie. A more epic experience would have been nic at night in basic training. Standing in a trench in full kit with your weapon, one hand on the wall waiting to climb up and over to begin the 300 meter live fire crawl. I remember when they started shooting over us, you could see the tracer rounds flying over the top of the trench (looked like the rounds were flying hella close to our heads). We all glanced over at the Drill Sergeant who gave us some motivation in the form of "What the fuck are you still doing in my trench! Get the fuck out and crawl!". Anyways, that was super epic, climbing out of that trench with bullets flying around. I wish I could do it again.

It felt like I was doing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N84Iq1PnEPQ
When in reality I was doing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_WYbTsWTi4

Though to my company's credit, there was a lot more shooting and explosive sims going off.

It was bellow freezing that night and some of us were unfortunate enough to come across puddles during our crawl. My uniform got pretty icy that night.

so I was on this white water rafting trip, right?

and the instructor made a huge error during one of the difficult currents. that nearly cost my life.

he reared me into a huge tree bough, and I had to pull a Lara Croft sort of stun to avoid having my head chopped off.... because the boat was going at a fast pace.

I paid attention to what he was doing; and I knew he made a mistake because he was going so close to the shore.

I wasn't in a very good mood and when I'm not in a good mood I further despise going out and socializing, more than usual. I eventually decided that I would get nowhere in recovery (personal issues) if I continued to isolate myself so I made a last minute decision to go to a gig that my bestfriend had invited me to, and a few friends of ours. As soon as we got there one of our friends said hello to 2 guys, and then introduced them to us. We didn't really talk much at the gig but both the guys hung around with us that night. When it came time to leave me, my bestfriend and the 2 guys had no idea how we were getting home etc. so we ended up going to a fast food place together and having a midnight snack. We ended up staying there for the next 3 or so hours, talking and making jokes (yes, we left at like 4am). We took a cab home and my bestfriend and I were dropped off at mine, we paid for our half, and then the boys paid for theirs. The guys used the excuse of having to "buy us drinks" to repay for the fare, even though they paid? It was pretty sly. My bestfriend and one of the boys ended up meeting up a lot afterwards and so my bestfriend would bring me along and her guy would bring along the other guy, thus we got to spend time with each other and get to know each other. One night we all went drinking together and, in his drunken state, the guy was not-so-subtly trying to get me alone to kiss me, he was the cutest thing that night. From there we started spending time alone together and he started introducing me to all his friends. That's how we started dating really! Our entire relationship feels movie like - without the drama.

TL;DR I met my current boyfriend at a gig I almost didn't go to.

Well, my sister and were walking home, chatting about how great court went. "Did you see that look on the judge's face?! Hah!" Just talking about another successful conflict with the colonists.

We kept walking further down the road, each time block we got closer we saw more and more highway men. There were at least 12+ cars around my house. I told my sister to take out her phone and record as much as she could since I knew what was about to happen. I walked up on the stairs of my house despite all the yelling from the highway men. I spoke to the man desperately trying to get the door open. "Don't touch that!" I said something like that, then pretty much everyone within 7 feet of me had their guns drawn.

Despite the danger of the situation, I felt kinda cool doing that in front of everyone, especially since how fragile I actually am.

Yeah. About 3 weeks ago I found out that I have an evil twin brother who's hellbent on world domination. Naturally, I figured the best course of action was to say 'meh, not my problem'.

Nope not sure if it was mimicked or not. Apparently they mimic them and can make the sound.
