You know I really don't like complaining and I have been trying to be good about it but my Crunchyroll App has been experiencing periodic lag for days at a time then it just kind of goes away and no manner of deletion and reinstall fixes it, now I couldn't help but notice this is an issue that's been unresolved since 2012 (judging by closed threads). Is there some hidden trick I don't know about how to fix it? Or am I doomed to continue waiting for a phantom patch to swoop in magically because I'm semi at patience end with this app. Thanks.

I contacted the staff about the same issue. The responder said that their engineers are working on the issue. Some users might be skeptical, but I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt. If you haven't already, you may just want to ask them about your lag issue using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and see if maybe there's a solution for your case. For me, they suggested changing the DNS on my PS3 to Google's (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4) or OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220) and they suggested changing my settings to show mature content. For the sake of full disclosure, the solutions didn't fix the issue for me. However, your case may have a different cause, so to be safe you should still contact them to see if they offer you a different solution.

Well I appreciate the ideas I may just do that, I admit I was semi-steamed about it and was coming off a little high handed, I honestly overlooked contacting them directly as I figured the forums would give me a quick response. Also I'm glad to finally hear about a possible future patch for crunchyroll PS3 app, I haven't read any confirming reports of "its in the works" until now.

I sure hope they fix it soon. I've been using the app ever since it came out, and it's wonderful to watch it on my TV, but it would be even better without these random bugs.
