It is less than that. If you exclude the few anime that have premiered this month, and Puchimas!! Petit Idolmaster, which will premiere on Monday, March 31 (US time), the premieres start rolling in on April 1.

Oh yeah, I can't wait. I've been marathoning Fairy Tail this whole week so I can watch it once it comes out (I'm on episode 131 right now). Fairy Tail is my #1 favorite anime and so excited to hear there's even more.

I resumed watching it on a whim a few weeks back on episode 53, and now I've watched 128 and 3 OVAs lol, it's a wonderful show. A year's worth of friendship and hot blood in every episode. It'll be a few weeks through the next season before I catch up, but I'm super excited now. I also like that Bridge is co-producing the show with A-1 Pictures, since they did good with a low budget on Nobunagun.

Very much so. It helped get me into a lot of other anime, and was what I used to get my sister addicted to it. Not much longer now

Funimation EVS ($7.95/month) = no ads.

Too bad the player is so damn bad, and too bad it barely has any simulcasts.
I mean for crying out loud, I dont want crunchyroll to monopolize the entire anime streaming industry but why cant it get licenses easier? Do the people who give out licensing rights not know about the millions of illegal sites out there that are not enforced by law?

I view using their Roku app, so I can't say much about their Flash-based EVS web player.

I believe the only time I have used it for viewing within the past year was once when I wanted to verify that my memory regarding their Symphogear licence. (I remembered it having commercials regardless of membership status [which I confirmed], and it wasn't available on the Roku).

I've found media companies, whether they are in Japan or the US, like to pretend piracy is rampant one minute, and either doesn't exist or is virtually eliminated by DRM (which certainly isn't true) the next.

The planned delays, such as some licenses not giving CR the right to start a simulcast until the last terrestrial station in Japan has broadcast the series are usually out of some fear that users in Japan will somehow be able to watch the earlier CR stream or a rip of it. These of course, ignore the reality that as soon as the first broadcast happens, someone is going to be recording it in Japan and uploading it to the internet.

The unplanned delays, such as we often saw with Kill la Kill are a different matter entirely. (BTW, I notice Wakanim's schedule has the final episode scheduled for April 4, so I can only imagine the percentage of people turning to illegal sources in the UK).

Its kinda sad. Im not gonna go outta my way to buy a DVD for an anime ive never heard of. All the big series are already on crunchyroll with a few exceptions, so wtf? I dont get their business strategy. I doubt anyone is going to find a new anime on amazon and insta buy the blu ray. Just my two cents though xD. I wouldnt Mind paying a dollar or two more a month for more anime since the quality of crunchyroll isnt beatable by illegal streaming services
