What's the chance of it getting a second season?

Well no matter the opinion of how good the ending was, it was conclusive so there really isn't anything to do with a second season. Also, I thought the LN and anime were ending simultaneously but apparently there are two more volumes to be released. Either way the LN has ended or will end soon enough. There won't be enough material for a second season.

Also, there is already a forum topic for this @

I feel as though the anime ended on a good note. However I would welcome a second season. But the LN just don't have enough material for another.

I just don't see how you can ressurect Ghost Banri from the dead for another season without desecrating his grave.

Though, if you do look up the type of mnesia Banri went through, you'll see that those patterns are re-occuring. What are the chances that Banri won't wake up and forget Koko again and for years later next time? That happy ending, ended a little too neatly.

Maybe a series of ovas, including the 2D-kun special, but a second season won't happen.

Yup. Stories are best when they end definitively, rather than keep dragging along in order to make more money.

I'd rather have some OVAs or a spin-off starring the side characters like 2D-Kun (There are already short stories that can be adapted) than have a Second Season. I actually loved the show, despite the weird & rushed ending.

They could make me happy by having a Yana/2d/Banri bromance spinoff.

Hi,

Since there is a Golden Time discussion over at http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-821179/golden-time-discussions (they're mostly talking the ending right now, in fact), I'm closing this as a dupe. Probably get some great Season 2 talk over there, though!

Hi, this isn't a Genera Discussion topic, and we do have both The Anime Help Thread and a discussion thread for the show, where the question would be appropriate. Here's the link for the discussion:

I'm pretty sure this show told the whole story, so there's not really anything left for a second season. However, you'll get a better sense for possibilities by browsing that discussion thread.
