I'm probably just the same on ze internet and in person. There's no point in trying to be someone else, plus I'm too damn cool and I love being me :D

I'm only not me when I hide my love for anime from people.

I'm the same person both online and in life.

Internet personas were a lot more common back then, however with the rise of more social integrations like Facebook I believe they're disappearing.

Haha, when I was younger I used to pretend to be tough online and say loads of curse words, but now that I think about it, that behavior is so typical for kids As for now, I guess I'm nearly the same as my personality in real life, but since we converse through written words and I actually have time to formulate responses, I'm much wittier and well-spoken. Of course, in real life I use a lot of filler words like "um" and "yeah." And I guess I'm more... Perky? Meh.

I'm pretty much myself... I mean, I obviously don't have my picture here, but the way I act here, is how I act in real life. YEP...

I'm less responsive in person. I rarely respond when talked to in real life, nor do I comment on anything.

We all hide behind our own shadowy veil on the internet.

We could all be lying or telling the truth. The best thing to do is to just believe what we're told about someone but expect it to be completely false.

I never had a fake identity, but friends noticed my personality was very different during certain online settings. I was leading a hardcore PvP guild in Guild Wars 1 for 2 years when I was 16. Just BSing around one day I asked them how old they thought I was. They said 40ish... I guess it was just me being slightly stern/strict without raging. *shrug* I try to be pretty laid back real life.

I am just a normal guy online, but in real life I am an alien cat.

I try to be myself, and not put on a facade. But I've been told I'm a lot different in real life than I am online... And I do see it. I'm a little more assertive, and less shy when I'm on the internet, but offline, I'm pretty awkward and socially anxious.

personally I feel like im more open about myself and more honest about my true feelings when im on the net like a place like this. im a bit of a lolicon (not sexually but I love playing and taking care of children) but I couldn't talk about stuff like gakuen babysitters or love so life with my friends.

I can also talk a bit more easily to people on the internet then face to face, partly due to my PDD (a slight mental disability on the autism scale) language is hard for me to produce. brain thinks to fast for my mouth so I stutter a lot and its hard to have a conversation unless you know really well.

and because of the fact that people here (mostly) all share similar taste and passions its easier to talk about my hobbies then with family. and the anonymity it provides lets me talk about personal matter more easily too. (im a lonely soul but people and family aren't aware of how lonely I am, talking to people in forums helps me deal with it.)

You were 16 for two years? How cool is that?

Nope, i'm an asshole in real life just as much as I am on the internet. I usually try my best to keep personal info off the internet unless its needed for like a job application or something.

Well i hide more and more of my personal details these days for mostly obvious reasons but personality wise what you see is basically what you get. I guess i'm more of an introvert in real life and prefer my own company and to listen rather than talk to others where as online i'm more expressive about my own opinions. But i basically act the same both online and offline.

I have used other personas for creative reasons. I'm a Writer and love being creative so often when i'm creating a new character one of the things i like to do is go on to chat rooms and things like discus debates on news articles etc as that character just to flesh them out a bit and also to see how people react and how that character would behave in certain situations.

Of course chat rooms can have limited success especially if you are a female character because people on them can be very one track minded and hard to draw into a conversation.
