Your posts of going up and beyond whats needed always makes me smile. The banners for each season are bloody awesome
I just want to make it really easy for the person who has to go through and count everything.
The banners I saw someone else to last year and I liked the touch so I stole it.
Its an awesome touch. *thumbs up*
"Can you become someone's sun?"
AKB0048 Next Stage I felt that this series had its moments. On a deep personal level, I enjoyed watching this series overall. I love the music from AKB48 and its subunit NO NAME; Mayuyu, Karen & Amina’s voices, and the story itself. It left me wanting more from this series. On a side note, this series has made me start oshi-ing the 48 groups and their rival group, Nogizaka46.
Cuticle Detective InabaWhat can I say? I love the randomness this series brings to the table.
Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they?Shiroyasha and Kurousagi brought out the love I have for this series. Izayoi though... he's fucking awesome.
Date A LiveI didn’t check out this series until it was already over, but the I loved the flagging in this series.
Hataraku Maou-sama!To be frank, I was going to overlook this series because of the English title threw me out. Glad I didn’t because it was a pretty goddamn good series. In fact, one of my personal favorites of that season. Maousama was just pleasing to watch with the other characters.
Hayate no Gotoku! CutiesEven though I hated that they never came back to do the whole A-tan arc, I still enjoyed watching the series because of Ruka appearance.
Hentai Ouji to Warawanai NekoOverall, the series was loveable. Tsukiko Cuteness :D
To Aru Kagaku no Railgun SWatching the re-telling of the sister arc was just amazing. Accelerator madness was also a plus as stark once said.
Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA.ILLYAInvesting my time in this spinoff series was well worth it. Watching those two with Rin and her rival was just great.
High School D×D NewOne of my favorite harems series
Ro Kyu Bu SSI love Tomoka and her friends. They make this series enjoyable. Really they did.
Servant × ServiceLucy (omitted) and Hasebe-kun. <3
The World God Only Knows Megami-henI loved the goddesses arc. It was enjoyable and great just like reading it from the manga.
Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- Ship battles and their human forms. Takao XD
Kill la KillRyuko and her clothes. Satsuki. I learned a lot.
Log Horizon You have to love a villain in glasses
Nagi No AsukaraLoved the series because it has a good love story going for it that I felt from it.
Noucome (My Mental Choices)You got to love that god and chocolat haha
Outbreak CompanyBringing anime to a foreign land. Cool :)
I love you Miichan, Takamina, Sasshi & Nako! (^_^)/
Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?
edit: forgot about beyond the boundry , so taking out samurai flamenco.
Children The Unlimited Hyoubu Kyousuke
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha
Yama No Susume
the only anime in the guidelines that i saw during the season, good depth story telling in unlimited and was awesome.
attack on titan
the severing crime edge
ginga kikoutai majestic prince
date a live
red data girl
to aru kagaku no railgun s
these shows are awesome, simple as that. attack on titan is revelutionary in many way. severing crime edge had an eerie tone that made things right, majestic prince i just want to watch, date a live for the otakus, mushibugyou filled my mondays, red data girl cuz i love the onmyouji stuff, big fan of the to aru series, snafu is just awesome.
fate/kaleid liner prisma illya
sunday without god
the world god only knows
free, unexpectedly was good. gatchaman crowds was lively and fun. the others are just awesome.
build fight gundam
strike the blood
beyond the boundry.
replaced samurai flamenco
kill la kill
ace of diamond
love gundam, making gunpla more lively. tokyo raven is awesome in story and all and bonus points for onmyouji background, kill la kill is revolutionary. sports anime has them feels. samurai flemenco is a bit out but its a fresh yet cliche anime. same can be said about beyond the boundry as tokyo ravens.
i am going to ahead and call attack on titan the winner, pretty sure the ratio of antifan are lower than most other popular shows. kill la kill and log horizon probably has a chance because of the hype.
my want to win list but probably not ganna happen will be, gatchaman crowd, build fight gundam, tokyo ravens, and devil part timer.
hoping to see red data girl pass the qualifying rounds allong with samurai flamenco and ace of diamonds.
on my way to my DREAMS- your smile - through food
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT (Just a good harem that isn't completely nonsensical)
Da Capo III (All around enjoyable harem that was very fun and easy to watch. I honestly have no good reason to like this lol)
GJ Club (A pointless slice-of-life comedy that gets everything so right where lots of others fall short. It came out of nowhere with it's subtle and heartwarming comedy.)
Nekomonogatari: Kuro (It was nice to see all the weirdness of Monogatari filtered down to a focused, suspenseful story for 4 straight episodes. The result was as good as ever.)
Oreshura (Ended up shining through despite it's shaky start. Again, don't really have a good reason to like this, I just do.)
Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? (Another surprise that ended up being much better than it's nonsensical premise made it out to be. Lots of good action, characters, and comedy.)
Senyu (Made out of 100% hilarious)
THE UNLIMITED Hyobu Kyosuke (Just a very cool show with lots of cool action scenes that involved cool people.)
Attack on Titan (Had a premise and scale of epic proportions, plus it was actually pulled off incredibly well, art-wise and story-wise. Probably the best action scenes of the year.)
A Certain Scientific Railgun S (The story, characters, setting, action, and comedy are each strong enough to carry the show by themselves, and yet you get it all rolled up into one perfect show.)
Date A Live (funny harem with good characters, though it always seemed to be executed better the less serious it was)
The Devil is a Part-Timer! (Very good comedy that rises far above its light novel adaptation peers.)
Gargantia on the Verderous Planet (Gen Urobuchi, mechs, along with amazing artwork.)
Muromi-san (A unique little comedy with lots of oddball moments. Fanservice was way too much at times, though.)
Nyarko-san W (Really funny twist on a harem with lots of references. Protagonist was less terrible this season. In fact, all characters saw improvements during this run.)
Valvrave the Liberator (A very confusing show. One that's affected me in ways no other show has, for better or worse.)
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya (A surprising show that started out silly then continued to break the budget episode after episode with it's unreasonably good action scenes.)
Gatchaman Crowds (Very unique and colorful show that was adept at bringing out a multitude of emotions and atmospheres. Had an unfortunately rushed ending, but holds up well otherwise.)
Hyperdimension Neptunia (A very funny and self-aware show about cute girls doing awesome things. Add to that some very good execution and you've got my favorite this season behind Monogatari.)
Sunday without God (Had amazing artwork and an appropriately engaging and emotional story to back up its philosophical themes.)
Monogatari Series: Second Season (Just another piece in Shaft's best series. This show can do no wrong by me.)
Senyu Season 2 (See season 1)
Silver Spoon (This slice-of-life is probably the most genuine I've seen. Lots of valuable life lessons to be learned.)
The Eccentric Family (Good artwork with a unique story that gets very heartwarming and philosphical.)
Beyond the Boundary (Kyoto Animation's first action anime in too long.)
Gundam Build Fighters (Full on nostalgia mode all the time. Incredibly entertaining every episode.)
Kill la Kill (The former top dogs of Gainax made a show to show off the full power of their new studio. Turns out it was awesome.)
Kuroko's Basketball Season 2 (Made of 100% entertainment and hot blood.)
Log Horizon (Immersive world and a very different take on humans stuck in virtual reality.)
Magi: The Kingdom of Magic (An awesome fantasy adventure with a story unlike any other shounen action series.)
Unbreakable Machine-Doll (Decent story paired with a unique art style that had good 3D integration.)
Valvrave the Liberator Season 2 (See season 1)
So, the second season of Oreimo didn't make the list. Not after that ending >_>
I still never saw Danganronpa, but I heard it was great.
Same with Space Battleship Yamato...
and Kyousogiga. <<<This one seems to be the dark horse already.

LOVE LAB "We must research the everliving hell out of love"
Kyoukai no Kanata - One of the best Series I have seen in a LONG time. So filled with heart and fun.
To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S - As an obvious fan of the To Aru Series, this one is a must for me. It was better than the first half, to me. Not to mention Accelerator finally get his screen time.
Log Horizon - Certainly no SAO, but still has good qualities. This anime really taught me the evil of those that wear glasses.
Kakumeiki Valvrave - Great action and plot. A good mecha anime that I would highly recommend to those that like mecha anime.
Valvrave the Liberator 2 - Despite what people say, I thought the second half of the Valverave story was good. Certainly different from the first half, but no less good.
If there's one thing I've learned, it's that there is so much I don't know.
Loved Yuuko and the tone of the show.
Big fan of the monogatari series
Cute and quite funny
Attack on Titan
Obvious reasons. Animation, music, action, suspense, everything.

Stella Academy - The animation is the summer's best

Little Busters! Refrain - Key. Plain and simple

Beyond the Boundary - Fantastic animation
Infinite Stratos 2 - Battle scenes are beautifully done
Log Horizon - Less action and more psychological for what looks like an action genre.
Well, that's that.
My Votes are for:
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU
Kuroko no Basuke
Kyoukai no Kanata
- Chihayafuru 2: great energy, good motivation anime, incorporate poetry and athleticism.
- Cuticle Detective Inaba: The FUNNIEST anime I've ever seen since Lucky Star. The good and bad guys are ridiculously stupid. A fine example of good exaggeration, satire and parody.
- Aku no Hana (Flowers of Evil): This anime is so dark and deep, I love the messages the anime brings to the audience; love doesn't always have a happy ending, social acceptance and rejection.
- Hayate the Combat Butler! Cuties: It made me laugh.
- Mushibugyo: It's kind of funny, so I'll nominate it. And the main hero is an airhead but entertaining.
- Suisei no Gargantia: The sci-fi element really engage me in the anime.
- Free!: I love the humour in free! and the interaction between characters; it's very cohesive.
- Hakkenden Touhou Hakken Ibun 2: I like how it incorporates Japanese mythology into the anime in a modern setting...
- Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist: It's funny and I like the incorporation of devils and human contract theme.
- No matter how i look at it, it's you guys' fault I'm not popular: A unique anime that shows the flaws of the main protagonist. An anime character I could relate to very well, so I have to vote for it
I didn't like anything from fall, but if I have to choose one anime...
- Samurai Flamenco: For its unique characters and storyline...
anti-god, anti-religion, anti-imaginary-things-claimed-as-real
Boku wa Tomodachi ga [ Sukunai NEXT Even better than the first one. Memorable leads. Sena is a very popular character among anime fans.
maoyuu maou yuusha One of the most original opening episodes. Intelligent anime that actually discusses economy for once.
Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? - quality animation and characters that are more or less trying to break out of the mold. Powerful, intelligent, suave male character from the beginning? Check.
Hataraku Maou-sama! The comedy is just so well done, you can just see it translated into the facial expressions of the characters drawn. Guaranteed to crack most people up.
Attack on Titan - Massively popular anime. Among the many types of MOE animes out there, this serious anime stands out a lot. Gripping tale.
Date A Live - Not that MoE is bad. TWGOK meets K-On and makes a cute, action-comedy.
Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W Nyaruko's become a staple in Anime. Her and her crazy alien friends provide all of the best comical parodies in this second season.
Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko Very funny and sweet. I found the character art, especially how the eyes are drawn, to be unique.
Kakumeiki Valvrave Beautiful fight scenes. Story drawn heavily from past mech inspirations and done very over the top in a good way. Hate it or love it. I loved it.
Mushibugyou Mushibugyou (character) and the male lead were memorable and had quite the chemistry. Male lead was bumbling without being annoying. Quite heart warming actually.
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Got another memorable male lead in a RomCom, mainly due to his refreshing cynical yet comedic input on everything.
High School DxD New The Ecchi comedy with an actually interesting back story, series continues to be enjoyable with new casts and an even bigger plot.
Sunday without God Very original concept, especially for an anime, quality artwork and animation (city of the dead arc anyone) and the most MoE main lead contrasted with a very setting. Tissues are used already in the first few episodes.
Rozen Maiden 2013 DESU. Loved the perspective of an alternate timeline WHAT IF the Rozen Maidens didn't exist.
Eccentric Family A haunting musical score giving rise to the beautiful scenes and a thought provoking slice of life anime. Benten.
The World God Only Knows Megami hen Everyone in the harem world already knows Keima is the best male harem lead because he is God :p. They really upped the series with the Goddess plot line.
Golden Time Koko Kagari really brings life to this series, love or hate her. She reminds a lot of people of a grown up version of Taiga from Toradora. It's nice to have a romcom drama world where the people are out of high school and older, college in this case.
Magi: The Kingdom of Magic Lack of Morgiana made it difficult to place this here, but a still a very fun shonen if you can ignore the ugly, low budget art work at times.
Non Non Biyori Absolutely moe, and different because it's set in the country side. Breath taking scenery with lovable characters splashed into it.
Outbreak Company An anime that loves anime culture like a love letter sent to all the fans here.
Valvrave the Liberator 2 This anime became the king of 2013's over the top plot twists (Samurai Flamenco was just stupid and random). Musical score was great too Soba Ni Iru Yo .
