Here are my entries.

Winter 2013
1. Chihayafuru 2 - Very intense card competition makes for great development.
2. Problem Children - It's a fun show about playing games in a fantasy world to establish a community.
3. Tamako Market - Cute KyoAni show that's fun to watch
4. Encouragement of Climb - A series of shorts about girls and outdoor activities sounds great.
5. Amnesia - The artwork and character designs are really nice in this show.
6. Vividred Operation - Girls in hot pants beating up aliens. 'Nuff said.
7. Oreshura - It's a harem with a colorful cast.
8. Sasami-san@Ganbaranai - Totally weird imagery drives this show.

This is such a weak season here. I decided that everything that I watched and didn't totally hate would make it.

Spring 2013
1. Attack on Titan - Epic. Prologue. And Eren. Just about everything is great about this highly intense show.
2. Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet - It's Gen Urobuchi doing what he does best.
3. Valvrave the Liberator - Stylish and entertaining mecha show with unpredictability driving this show.
4. Oregairu - A comedy about a boy who thinks youth is pure evil is pure genius.
5. Yuyushiki - Cute girls doing random web searches makes for a nice time to be had.
6. Karneval - A crime-fighting unit doubling as a circus troupe makes for an interesting story.
7. Date A Live - It's a harem where the object is to avoid disaster by falling in love.
8. Red Data Girl - This show is visually stunning with nice imagery and a cute MC.

Sadly, I have yet to watch Hataraku, Maoh-sama despite everybody saying how great this show is, so I can't enter it in. But in spite of that, I still have enough shows that I enjoyed to fill up this list headed by the best show of the year in Attack on Titan (while debatable, it definitely is the most popular). Even though the second half of Valvrave is better, this show is entered into the spring bracket because fall is so crowded and I don't see the second half as being a second season and it is only labeled as such because they did not air in consecutive seasons.

Summer 2013
1. Silver Spoon - MC learns so much in life through his time at agricultural school that he couldn't learn back at home.
2. Free! - The show uses swimming to develop characters and friendships very nicely.
3. Genshiken Nidaime - It introduces great new characters, all while keeping the original cast relevant and continues to be as great as Genshiken as I remember it.
4. Watamote - A dark comedy about how a girl tries all the wrong things to become popular just makes this show unique.
5. Eccentric Family - Nice artwork with a rich story makes this a great show.
6. Kiniro Mosaic - Cute girls doing cute things, plus British culture thrown into the mix makes for a fun show.
7. Rozen Maiden - Better story than the original and is more true to the manga, which is great.
8. Fate/kaleid Linear Prisma Illya - It's an enjoyable magical girl show with familiar characters in it.

While summer was weaker than the spring season, it still is miles better than the winter. Even so, it has some really great shows at the top.

Fall 2013
1. Log Horizon - It's SAO, except with a story that has better execution.
2. Kill la Kill - Awesome in many ways, and the second half is just epic.
3. Magi: The Kingdom of Magic - The buildup of the story totally makes the ending so much sweeter.
4. Unbreakable Machine-Doll - Great characters, solid story, and great action makes for a great show.
5. Golden Time - Nice romantic show develops due to the MC's amnesia.
6. Outbreak Company - It's a show with a fun atmosphere, but at the same time telling a really nice story.
7. Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Just watch episode 10, and that says it all. And then there are the battles that are nice in CGI.
8. Beyond the Boundary - Beautiful animation, cute girls, and an air of mystery make this another enjoyable Kyoani production.

The fall season is the Group of Death here. The second season of Valvrave got the slip even though it is the much better season because it was already included in the spring bracket. In any case, I left off some great shows that I really loved in this season such as Samurai Flamenco and Tokyo Ravens.

I was looking forward to this! I could have nominated more shows, but I think it's best for me to vote for fewer to increase the chances of the shows I really want to win to go through.

Winter
Nekomonogatari (Black): What makes the Monogatari series so hit and miss is the balance of elements. It was spot on in Bakemonogatari, and Nekomonogatari (Black) hit the mark again. It was a wonderful way to start the year!
Chihayafuru 2: I adore the combination of beautiful poetry and intense competition in this series. No other anime pulls off a mixture of elements like that quite as well as Chihayafuru does.

Spring
The Devil is a Part-Timer! (Hataraku Maou-sama!): The best way for a comedy to be successful is to have awesome, memorable characters, and the cast of The Devil is a Part-Timer! was very strong.
A Certain Scientific Railgun S: At its best, Railgun S was either crazy explody fun or incredibly poignant (and sometimes both). I don't think it sustained its quality the whole way through, but it definitely deserves a nomination.

Summer
Sunday Without God: A massive surprise, this show had an unusual concept and delivered in spades. Ai was far from the annoyingly cutesy protagonist I feared she'd be.
The World God Only Knows: Goddesses: Hectic fun at the beginning, intensely emotional at the end. The rise in quality since the first season is staggering.

Autumn
Kill la Kill: Lived up to the hype. What more needs to be said?
Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea: Characters and relationships are constantly changing, which I love. I still can't get over how clever the big twist was.

So the shows I want to go through get more votes...

It was 90% joke though. (10% serious proposition )

Winter:

1. Amnesia - Very fun anime even with its darkness.
2. Nekomonogatari - Always a funny and engaging show

Spring:

1. Attack on Titan - Amazing show. Many cliffhangers and plot twists. So much death.
2. Devil Survivor 2 - Love the game. I like how the anime stayed mostly true to the spirit of the games.
3. Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko - Hilarious and perverted.
4. Mushibugyu - I like the idea of using bugs. The character interaction was good.
5. My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU - Great show, great characters.

Summer:

1. Gatchaman CROWDS - was a fun spirited show that showed the darker and lighter sides of humanity.
2. Genshiken Nidaime - The relationships in this show are what cause it to stand out.
3. Silver Spoon - A very interesting take on the world of farmers and those that work in similar professions.

Fall:

1. Hajime no Ippo Rising - SO much guts and courage. I love boxing.
2. Log Horizon - A very similar yet different take on a MMO based anime then SAO. I like where the story is going.
3. Magi: The Kingdom of Magic - Many lovable characters and a nice Arabian atmosphere
