Greylurker confirmed these same titles are also available via Netflix in Canada.

Gurren Lagann was added September 2, 2014.
[Available both subtitled and dubbed]

Samurai Flamenco was added October 16, 2014.

[Available both subtitled and dubbed]

UPDATE: The Irregular at Magic High School was added November 15, 2014.

Even if you've seen these on CR, it might be worth watching just so the streaming count reflects to Netflix, "Yes, we want more of this".

Of course, this will also be a boon to those either wanting to see the dub (for those series that have it available) or who had streaming issues when attempting to watch on CR.

Already watched the dub on Toonami. Unless the dub of the SAO TV special is there(checked; its not) staying(joined to watch Star Wars: Clone Wars season 6) with a pay service is silly when I already have CR.

I've quite and re-joined Netflix canada too many times to be suckered by their promises of anime. I don't know what the american netflix has but Canadian has and continues to have JACK.

Great to see that Aniplex is putting their shows on Netflix. Previously, they were only available on Neon Alley, where I can't watch stuff at my own pace. And speaking of Neon Alley, the time is near when everything is moved over to Hulu. I haven't subscribed to Netflix for years, so maybe this will get me to finally sign up again.

Yes!! Thanks for this post! I love when Netflix adds anime and think it's super smart to watch it so they see people watching it. Hope they get more! ^.^

Can't be worse than the anime selection on Netflix UK.

Hopefully they will start adding more and more, I think that they are starting to see that the other streaming services are holding a good share of those viewers that watch and enjoy anime.

I like how AniplexUSA is adding their anime on Netflix. I bet after the Toonami run, they will add Blue Exorcist.

I wonder what happened for Sentai to remove their shows from Netflix....

Not a fan of the subtitles on netflix. Tried watching Samurai champloo but it kinda ticked me off how they put sound effects as subtitles. I mean we can hear the sound, we don't need to see it in the text as well.

Netflix – in the U.S., at least; I feel awful for fans in Canada, Europe, and elsewhere – had a pretty good selection of anime before, but it suffered what seemed like a pretty random collapse, and now they're getting more of it back. Never what to expect in this age of Content Wars ....

I'm not a fan of the subtitles on Nextflix. I felt like re-watching Host Club but the subtitles were in bright ass yellow without a black outline so I couldn't even see the words half the time. So I went to Hulu to watch Host Club to see if the subtitles were also yellow there.... nope.. they were the standard white with black outline. I've checked other titles on nextflix and encountered the same stupid yellow! I'm canceling my nextflix at the end of the month. I have Crunchyroll for most of my anime and Hulu for anything from Funi and I can watch most new network tv shows there too.

Btw, the nextflix app I have is on my samsung smart tv, so maybe the subtitles are just stupid on my app.. idk.

I just checked SAO on my Roku 3, and the subtitles were white with a thin black outline.

I noticed that the subtitles for Attack on Titan on Netflix were different from the subtitles on Crunchyroll a few weeks ago. I prefer CRs subtitles though.
I like that Netflix has some dubs though. They're great to listen to while working on cosplay =-P ^.^

Aniplex has Magi right?

I hope that goes on Netflix sometime.

The dvd set is way too pricey compared to other anime dvds. And I wanted to try out the dub..
