I have noted that Blue Exocist is available only with subtites on Netflix, despite it having a dub available. That's a bit disappointing.

Ran into a few of these recently. Nice they are adding that. The subs are different and sometimes buggy (where they race across the screen then stop.. then come late.. then early.. ). Rewatched SAO as a comparison as I have most of the series just about memorized from my CR marathoning and thought the rewording was interesting (and in some parts better/more coherent). That said, I'm still a CR person. Ancient will you be adding more if you see them?

Yes. I check InstantWatcher.com on a regular basis, and update the initial message here any time I see something new from Aniplex.

You may note they have been adding 2 titles per month, but I doubt they can keep that up for long unless they start going with more subtitled only anime. (Frankly, it is strange that Blue Exorcist didn't include the dub).

That's awesome. So far those that have been added either I watched already, are on CR or I own the DVD/Bluray for. Still though for those friends who won't get CR but have a Netflix account I can send them there. Thanks again!

Here is a question. Does anyone know if they are the uncut Blu-Ray release quality or are they the TV airs that has more edits in them?

I suppose I could just run some anime on netflix while I play pokemon or my vita. I actually want to get my brother into anime but he refuses to read subtitles so dubbed SAO would be good for him.

Netflix gets the home video (DVD/BD) release version.

As you'll note, Netflix has both the dub and sub of Madoka Magica and Fate/Zero, and the dub of neither of those has even aired on TV in North America.

UPDATE 05/23/2014:

Updated the initial post to reflect the availability of Kill la Kill on Netflix.

did a quick pop over to the TV to give it a check.

Canadian Netflix does have Kill la Kill, Fate/Zero, Blue Exorcist and a large pile of other decent looking shows. So not too shabby looking for Canada

I imagine that's only because it's currently airing on toonami. They've put several other shows up with a dub, including SAO, which arguable quality aside, is probably the most popular of their licenses. In Kill la Kill's case I imagine the only reason there isn't a dub is because said dub doesn't exist yet. My guess is they'll add the dub when possible. If they were only airing subs to promote their overpriced dvds and blu-rays I don't imagine they'd have put any dubs up at all. I hope to see Magi and Durarara go up at least because God knows I'm not going to pay upwards of a hundred bucks for shows I can watch free on Crunchyroll.

So they are missing SAO and Madoka Magica in Canada?

Once I have confirmation, I'll add the information on which Aniplex titles are available in Canada to the initial message.

SOA and Madoka are both there. Also spotted a bunch of stuff like Spice and Wolf, Seki Rei, Eden of the East and quite a few others. From the looks of things we might have the same access as the US as far as Anime goes.

Apparently folks on Netflix really like Kill la Kill. With 2,531 ratings at the moment, it has an average rating of 4.6 stars (out of 5).

While there has been nothing new related to Aniplex on Netflix since my last update, apparently Viz is getting back on Netflix. Two titles were recently added by from them:

Death Note [dubbed and subtitled versions] (added June 15, 2014)

Vampire Knight [dubbed and subtitled versions] (added June 15, 2014)
NOTE: This includes Vampire Knight Guilty listed as season 2.

Mexico have few series but all those ( Fate, SAO, Kill la Kill, Blue Exorcist, and Madoka) are available, happy Aniplex and Netflix bring those series, particularly Madoka and Blue that are not available for Mexico via CR
