I've seen all but one of those titles, but I'm glad they're getting more anime. It's about time. And with popular titles like these maybe more people will tune in and they'll decide to get an even bigger selection.

Hopefully netflix somehow picks up everything that hulu has. The ads on HULU are so annoying and the way the titles are organized is horrible.

Gurren lagann, previously owned by Banzai, used to be on Netflix... Its where I originally saw the show.

1 more reason not to buy Aniplex anime goods.

Netflix's viewing system recognizes that also, as for me it reports, "You watched this title on 7/11/10".

The sad part about Hulu/Hulu plus, is even when you subscribe the adds are still there. That's what made me unsub with Hulu. Here's a note to companies marketing your product repeatedly through Hulu: if I want your service, I will seek it out. You're no better than spammers at this point.

They also added Ghost in the Shell : Arise . Has 2 shows , each just under an hour . Live chatted w/Netflix , thanking them for more anime . They said they are getting a lot of requests now for more anime . Also put my 2 cents in about 1080p being removed in 2013 from the Xbox 360 .

*checks it, and notes it's subtitles only*

DAMMIT!

Well, wait continues for the dub...or I'll just suck it up and watch as is.

Along with Samurai Flamenco (the Aniplex title), Netflix added 3 others from other publishers, so it seemed appropriate to create a new topic:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-871179/anime-on-netflix

I've also verified that all the Aniplex titles listed at the beginning of this topic are still available on Netflix.

11/01/2014:

I noted Magi (both the original series and the sequel) are available on Netflix in both dubbed and subbed formats.

I've been unable to determine if I just overlooked this in the past, or it is a very new addition. (Neither Netflix itself or InstantWatcher listed it as a new title, but InstantWatcher also didn't have it on its list of all anime titles at Netflix).

Netflix is getting more and more anime, maybe I'll subscribe again soon. Surprised Durarara isn't there yet but I guess it's only a matter of time.

Oh God please, no. I hope they don't buy out streaming rights for it on CR. I know there are contracts in place but who's to stop Netflix when they decide they want to be the only streaming site to have Magi or Kill la Kill...

I don't even really use Netflix for anime. I more use it for live-action tv series (both old and new), indie or smaller budget movies, classic films, and Disney/Cartoon Network.
