doesn't usually happen because I tend to make sure I am as strong as I need to be. I am the type that loots and grinds to make sure I'm as powerful as I need to be. Generally meaning I'm one step ahead of where I need to be. I also think ahead so generally I account for things. When it comes to CoD I just rage and quit but I hate CoD to start with. I play it because my friends do and I am not bad at it. Otherwise if it is another game either I play it out and lose or I walk away and try again later.

I put it down for a while or if I still want to play it, I look up Game FAQs. or I just refuse to play it ever again because of frustration (Toki Doki Memorial or something. I HATE THAT GAME SO MUCH)... Otherwise I watch YouTube videos of other gamers losing their bits over the same game.

Walkthroughs~~
I seriously wouldn't have made it through most games without youtube. I think when I first started playing Phoenix Wright, I had to consult it like, 5 times during investigations because I couldn't find the last piece of evidence.

Since I am not living in the real world. I will gladly spend my time happily in the game world! It better be an RPG though. Maybe Skyrim. I could start as an Imperial and find the mysteries revolving the country, explore the vast land, meet new people, decimate enemies, and most importantly finish the day in the Whiterun inn. Then after that im going to wake up.

Here's what I do...

1. If it's an RPG or something and I can't get past a PHYSICAL (not enemy) obstacle after trying everything in the book, I will look at a walkthrough. Also if there is some item I know I can get, but I don't know how to get it, I'll look it up. This includes crafting as well--mixing the wrong items over and over can get just plain stupid.

2. If it's a boss in an RPG and I can't beat it, I shall grind.

3. If it is a puzzle of some sort, I will mathematically derive the darn thing piece by piece to solve it. Last time I did this was in FFXIII-2 with those clock puzzles (the numbered ones). I literally solved the harder puzzles by using college-level graph theory :P, brute force guessing was too tedious and I couldn't solve them in my head given their complexity.

4. If I can't move or progress, I restart the game (making a new game if necessary).

If it's a puzzle, I would just google a solution, but if I'm getting my butt kicked, I will keep trying and trying. I might take a break if I'm still sucking, but I will try again until I get past it. As a absolute last resort, put the game on easy. Which does not happen much since I play on Medium.

I scour the environment in the game.
I don't get stuck often, however.

I kind of do the same thing. I either look for walkthroughs, or rage quit so hard I just stop playing the game for a long period of time.

If it is a jrpg and I can grind my way past it, I will do that. If I'm stuck on a puzzle for awhile, I will look it up in a walk through. Unfortunately my game playing time is limited and I can't afford the time to try every different thing to solve a puzzle.
