I hated living on the outskirts in my old house. great place, but with no reliable transpiration (public buses stopped running to my area at 8am and didn't start till 6pm) I became a shut in. only leaving the house to get food and work.

now I live downtown Ottawa and have such a great life, good job and more friends then I have ever had. I love it.

i'd love to try and live in either Tokyo or Kyoto for a year or 2 when I get abit more income. (a cook's wages aren't amazing unlessyou kill you body and soul for huge hours)

my entire childhood was spent living on a farm where I walked 1/4 mile to the bus stop. the closest town (which I consider my home town) is 10 minutes away when there aren't tractors hogging the roads. I visited large cities (mainly SF, SD, and LA), but always happy to come home. lived in Alabama in a small town of about 500 people, hated it because of the people mentality.

if I were to move, I would like to live in a house outside of town, but not too far from the nearest town and whatnot. I always worry about my car getting stolen or damaged in the city, kids playing in the street and getting hit by a car, and worse: my future kids staying inside all day and not wanting to go outside 0.0

I wouldn't mind living in a small beach town near a big city with lots of long coastal roads that lead to it. Then I could cruise all the way from my house to where I need to go with little to no traffic and beautiful scenery

In the middle of nowhere.

I think I want to live somewhere with greeny mountains.

I just find the sound of cars annoying nowadays. And I really want to escape that sound.

I'd find a small village in Sierra Leone and build up a million Dollar mansion right next to it.

I prefer the city but the country does have it's appeal if only because I could probably make better money in a rural community (as an EMT).

I kind of like the small town idea, but I don't mind living in a city.

Somewhere in Italy, or out in the country in the U.S., in a secluded area, with neighbors about a few miles away.

I'm fine with the village I live in. Cities are nice, but too noisy for me to tolerate actually living in.
