I would rather live outside of a small town on a big chunk of land. Living in the city is terrible.

About 3 minutes drive from my current residence.. There's a huge and beautifully created property, exactly what I'd like for my dream place.
Bush land around it, the trees are beautiful, only about 5-10 minutes drive from town, 20 from the beach. I always walk by it and take a few minutes to appreciate its beauty.

However something of that scale looks like it would cost around 600-800 grand to buy. I've saved $500 so far.. Heh.

City life! It's just so convenient. I don't own a car and it's great. There's always new things to try and stuff going on. Interesting people are everywhere. I like vacationing in the countryside, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Somewhere isolated, but in walking distance I can reach to a town or a city.

I rather live in a smaller city, but visiting a large town isnt bad every once in a while

I see all this hate for the big cities, haha. I am a NYC chick and I don't mind the country, but the city suits my taste. I love how fast paced city life is, and I enjoy going out every morning to talk to cool new people I meet at coffee shops. I don't find people in the city cold and bitter, it's just a fast paced life, and once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze

Well im use to the city so its gotta be DA City or a middle zone between the two . , ive gone to the countryside for a visit , nice but to darn quiet for ma taste i would rather live in the city and go mountain climbing, rafting and hiking like i usually do so i can appreciate it more when i do go. I dont know it makes a bigger impact on me how awesome the world is lol. if i was in a countryside i feel i would get bored quickly and would get tired of the scenery i would much rather go sometimes.

I think it's nice to live in a variety of places. Big cities, tiny towns, cabins in the middle of nowhere. All valuable experiences that give multiple different perspectives to life.

I had a really long, detailed response as to what I personally prefer, but eh. No one wants to read that.

I like living in the city the most.

I think i would like to live in all different types of surroundings. NYC/Vegas where the city is always full of life, to the snowy mountains in a cozy log cabin enjoying some warm cocoa ^^

A nice city by the beach.
Not too busy, but also not too isolated.

Ah, if I could only find a nice, secluded cave somewhere with Internet connection...

So what I have read I live in utopia . 45 km west of my town is a small city 90,000 133 km south a large city 1.5 million people , 144 km north large city 1 million people , 60 km west a large fresh water lake with white sandy beaches , 2 hour drive and I`m in Banff national park with skiing and the likes of the Rocky mountains . There is a golf course 2 blocks from my house a nice walk interrupted by a small white ball , a 5 min. walk with my kayak on the strap on wheels is a large lake no good for swimming but great for a relaxing paddle , Thanks for reminding me why I like it here so much !
