Hello,

I've had an anime membership off/on for some time depending on my unstable interest in anime, mostly due to RL being busy. But I noticed that on cancellation you immediately revoke access even if I paid just one day before for the 30 day membership. I think this is just generally a shitty way to do business. If I've paid for 30 days of membership, my access should end at the end of those 30 days, even if I cancel 10 days in. Otherwise, refund the difference between the days.

anyways.... Just a random 2 cents of feedback.

Bjaker has stated in the past he agrees with this, unfortunately, he isn't in a position himself to change it, only to relay feedback and his own opinion. Hopefully some day they will get around to changing this, but I get the impression it isn't high on the "to do" list.

For now, one can contact customer service and get the remainder of the membership restored with the automatic renewal canceled. (You can also contact them in advance to have the automatic renewal cancelled).

The one exception to this is during the free trial, which I suspect is why CR's cancellation process works the way it does. It makes sense for the free trial membership to end as soon as you cancel, and whoever coded that process in the first place didn't take the time to separate it from a paid membership, where it doesn't make sense.
