Hey!

So I've only been a CR-mem for about 2 months now, but I have already completed a few animes.

I quite quickly figured out the que-system, but the problem I have now is a bit different..

Let's say I que 20 anime's, I complete 10 of them and add 20 new ones, I then remove the 10 I have watched already from que to not overflow/clog it.
Is there no way I can track what animes I have completed, without leaving them in que? I am a person that like to re-watch things after I have seen them, to get a 2nd "opinion" or what you wanna call it. But both the "history" and "que" tab QUICKLY fill upp with single episodes and whole series, so there's no way to keep a clean track of what I only COMPLETED and what not.

Thanks in advance

I've moved this to Site Support / Minor Questions.

You can see your watch history--but that's on an episode by episode basis. You can see this to the right of your queue where it says "Recently Watched." If you click on View More you'll see a more complete history, or just click on the "History" tab right next to the Queue" tab. However, there isn't any way to filter it or sort it--it's always got the most recent watches at the top.

A lot of folks use the features on a site like My Anime List, Hummingbird.me, or Anime News Network to track what they've completed, since Crunchyroll doesn't have that specific feature.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I think CR should look into integrating that feature so people don't need to rely on 3rd party sites, or eveb better; auto sync between let's say CR and MyAnimeList

CR USED to have a portion of your profile where you could keep track of ALL anime that you've watched whether it was streamed on CR or not. However, for unknown reasons it was removed without much warning. I didn't like that my list was removed and had to restart all over again at MAL. It was an error to remove the feature and I wish CR would bring it back.

You can still access your lists by going here: http://www.crunchyroll.com/manager and clicking your list, then the "Open in full page" link. If we were to delete the data permanently we would let users know ahead of time.

Well it wasn't just so much that it was removed. Many people put a lot of work into those lists because they were open for viewing by those visiting their private page. It was also nice having things centrally located to one website. For instance I moved my list to MAL which led me to in a round about way to Daisuki.net. There aren't as many shows there but at least I can watch them without worrying about buffering, stuttering, or the video just not working at all which is an issue that plagues CR, You guys really have to fix that because as a paying customer not fixing a major issue makes CR look bad. The point I'm getting to is that by removing that simple feature CR made people look elsewhere to store their lists in a public setting. This led some people to vesting into other sites.

Might just try sticking to alternate sites to do so such as:

You can click the top menu "Explore" dropdown, then explore anime, and click on one of the iconsyou find to get you to the show page, where there is then a button to "add to Library".

You can also search by clicking the magnifying glass to get a search box and enter part of the title, then go to the show page from the links presented, again, with an "add to library" link.

It's pretty much one at a time...

Others sites may have a feature where you can look at batches of titles at a time, and click the ones you want to add, instead of looking up each title individually to add. I know ANN (www.animenewsnetwork.com) does, but I haven't used any others to know exactly how they work.

Hello CR Mods,
I think anime watched would be a great feature to add to the site. It should be relatively easy considering the way the queue has been designed.
If you guys are hiring freelancers, I wouldn't mind implementing this myself. (With an approved code review of course.)

Things that could be accomplished with current design pattern:
1. User can click "Move To Completed" after having completed the series
2. User can re-visit anime that have been completed by going into Queue -> Completed anime (tab)
3. If the anime ever reboots/continues by adding new episodes the anime can be automatically moved back to the user's queue and removed from the Completed Anime tab.

I would really love for something like this to be implemented and think that this would benefit the site greatly.

Regards
