@Hatguy: Barakamon maybe ?

It could be Barakamon. However they had already updated the lineup page with others announced at the same time, so I had assumed that already happened. But I didn't confirm it with someone from an appropriate region at that time, so it I can't be sure.

Edit: Akame ga Kill! box now filled in (total count unchanged).

Well a whole bunch of anime were just confirmed to be simulcasted by Crunchyroll. Now they just have to announce it themselves :p

Actually, they were announced by Crunchyroll...just at their panel at AX instead of online.

Is it just me, or are they updating the Summer List really slowly?

What I mean is, they'll announce they will stream the show, but won't add it to the line-up page till the next day or so.

They've been busy with preparations for AX and actually being there. I expect thing should return to normal around Monday or Tuesday.

I would have expected the box for it was added at the same time as Yamishibai 2, which I believe was also when they added more boxes.

Updated the box count and snapshot.

We are now up to 26 boxes in the "New Simulcast Titles" section. As CR was reported to have stated they would be at 50 simulcast for the season, we can expect at least 4 more boxes to be added in the future.

Looking at what's coming up and who the possible international license holders / R1 licensees are, I expect it to be something like this:

Pretty Sure
Sin Strange Plus
Ai Mai Mi ~Mousou Catastrophe~
Encouragement of Climb Season 2
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!
LOVE STAGE!!
Blade Dance of the Elementalers
Invaders of the Rokujoma
Monogatari Series Second Season -Hanamonogatari-

That would leave 3 left for the rest that I'm less sure about.

Less Sure
JINSEI
Himegoto
Magimoji Rurumo
Nobunaga Concerto
Tokyo ESP

-edit-
Though I guess we should count the 2 non-US streams in this as well.
That would leave only 1 box to fill with those unsure ones I listed.

And then, there's also a chance for another Drama simulcast to pop up too.

-edit 2-
I guess I should add Invaders of the Rokujoma to the "Pretty Sure" list as well, since it's a Sentai title.
That tweaks my counts quite a bit, since the "Pretty Sure" list now covers all the empty boxes if we include the 2 non-US streams in the count.

Oh well, I guess they could surpass 50.

I'm curious why you have Sin Strange Plus on the "less sure" list, given that CR simulcast the original series.

From what I've seen, a lot of people are going to be disheartened to see Tokyo ESP on your "less sure" list.

I am curious if when CR said that if they meant 50 only for anime simulcasts.

As I recall, many seasons ago when they first said they would have 30 simulcasts, I believe they ended up with 32. In any case I would take the 50 as a minimum.

My bad, that was suppose to be on the "Pretty Sure" list.
Fixed now.

I'm less sure on it, because it's possibly a Kadokawa title, and when I was doing this list for someone else, I realized, FUNi hasn't picked up a single Kadokawa and/or Media Factory title as of yet this season, so there's a chance that FUNi isn't done quite yet, as that one seems more like something they'd pick up.

It's possible, depending on exactly how they meant "50 simulcasts"
So I guess we'll have to see.

Hmm, just wondering but why is Blade Dance of the Elementalers on the Pretty Sure list? I think Funimation picked up a lot of titles from TNK in the past before like High School DxD, Kenzen Robo Daimidaler, etc

I think Magimoji Rurumo, Nobunaga Concerto, Strange Plus+, Invaders of the Rokujoma, Himegoto, Encouragement of Climb Season 2, and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei! will all likely come to CR. Not sure about Tokyo ESP still. I'm putting 50/50 on this one.

Because it's possibly a Kadokawa and/or Media Factory title, and it's streaming in Taiwan.
Generally, when something is streaming in Taiwan, it has a much greater chance of landing here rather than to FUNi.
That wasn't the case of Barakamon, but I expect Blade Dance of the Elementalers & Himegoto will follow the path of DRAMAtical Murder.
The only reason I have Himegoto on the "Less Sure" list, is because I really have no idea who holds the international rights at this point.

Are you factoring in things that aren't visible to you there?

Not for the 50, but keep in mind that was a statement made at a US anime convention.

I count 10 more anime series premiering this month that have no announced simulcast, and 7 that have skipped over (although I expect 2 of those can be immediately written off).

Having 30 new simulcasts + 20 continuing from a US perspective would leave 9 slots to be filled. That would mean CR would only need to pick up just over half the remaining series (not counting those 2 I wrote off) for the US to reach that, and that is below their overall average.

This also assumes they meant 50 simulcasts in total, and not 50 anime simulcasts.

All I really want is Love Stage!!, but it premieres today, so I dunno.. Maybe it will just get announced later today? I feel like CR is a little slow with announcing stuff this season.

Encouragement of the Climb 2 has to be there. If it isn't I'm going to break down.

You can probably count RWBY S2 in there too. The 50 is really restrictive so for now I'm just going to assume that it's a minimum and the total number will probably be around 53 (+ more non-English licenses).

If I done a list like above I would place them:

Almost confirmed (Sequels / Sentai):
Shin Strange Plus
Ai Mai Mi ~Mousou Catastrophe~
Yama no Susume S2
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!
Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!?
RWBY S2

Strong chance:
Jinsei
LOVE STAGE!!

Less Sure (I'd like to think they will be here, but Funimation's lineup is lacking in diversity):
Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance
Tokyo ESP
Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus
(Was one of my picks for a shared simulcast at the start of the season)

Not sure:
Majimoji Rurumo
Himegoto
Nobunaga Concerto
(I'm tempted to put this under strong chance)
Francesca

I'm not including Hanamonogatari since it's too far off for now.

Blade Dance could be Showgate. I find listing Kadokawa and/or Media Factory to be a bit redundant since they are essentially the same company now. The confusion of and/or is coming from how CR lists Media Factory as a separate licensor while Funimation lists them under Kadokawa.
